Yes, but it's not as gamebreaking as Cancer.

 

yea that is really true but I personally feel like readjusting all weapon to the same attack speed and to adjust would be easier than to rework all the code related to attack speed. Cuz it's always soonTM

poison is still rly op in PVP
but speaking of PVE wise, nerfing it harder would make it literally usable

I know Cancer is only one of many abusable attack tier items, but it's arguably the most so, considering that it's a gimmicky item that could have its main issue bypassed. It's also the first one that came to mind sooooooo

so the formula is
1.
(dmg - def) * atk spd multi * spell multi
that's obvious a problem with atk spd on the defense side
2.
If it's a glitch, there should be a fix
3.
The significant debuff is not significant enough

 

attack speed would be a much better idea if melee actually matters in most weapons

true, especially for PVP, but melee has actually has quite some limitations
walk speed and defense matter

 

The debuff is that spells are useless

 

it would be too overpowered if spell dmg is also high
the melee dmg DPS is already too high

So like it might not be as good as slow attack speed but i still find fast attack speed Way cooler cause htitng super slow is just boring and not very exciting so removing it from the game would take a lot of the diversity away from builds and make the game les fun (at least that's what I think)

there is not much diversity in terms of melee build, it's all about + tier attack speed abusing
you can clearly see almost no one is using taurus
but fun, yea it would be less fun, but I'd rather not have things be buggy

The reason casting can be shitty is because 1. the double right click glitch and 2. when you melee, you can only cast L once you can melee again. I don't know if anybody here said that because I don't feel like reading, both need solutions though.

We're sort of doing that anyways, so that's not an issue
Technically it's just cleaning it up but all the same it will be easier to fix it if they don't while cleaning the code
