This is making its rounds on the Internet, and all the articles read exactly the same.

 

I'm pretty sure all the authors used for their articles was Salted's reddit post, the "about" section on our website, and probably the existing articles.

I like how the second one is literally just 2 paragraphs and a link to one of WC's trailers.

 

I mean, it looks like the 3rd one at least gave some effort into writing an article.

(Except for the part where "guilds" comes before everything other than quests, though that's just guilds being a mistake as always)

 

Yeah. It would have been nice if any of them had actually played the game, but whatever.

 

not even that, but just put forward a little bit of effort into actually figuring out what it's about other than being a Minecraft mmo

Oh yea, I looked up "wynncraft" in google news and got this after 5 or 3 articles:



That's a worrying amount of news sites I've never heard of...

 

Like, TOTAL player count, as in all the people who have ever played, or?

 

By the end of this week i am excpecting the.most used city to be Ragni

 

I just met some level 10s in Almuj, saying they were "following the path".

 

At least they werent the lvl20s i met in cinfras

 

Reminds of myself and other players in 2013/2014.... Actually, I never went to Almuj at level 10, but it's nice to know new players aren't that different from ones in 2014, always willing to explore, even if it means lacking the most basic common sense, they'll learn eventually. I hope

 

When i started i explored and at lvl30 i was in olux and lvl40 at sky islands

What's funny is that this phrase makes sense both literally and metaphorically given the context.

 

All this coverage is fantastic, more players means more funding and with that once the refactor is done then we can really work in overdrive on all sorts of crazy updates.

Also new players means more people applying for the Content Team as well and that's also awesome.

I'm honestly glad Wynn is getting popular via these sites but most of them only care about the clicks it'll give them and do little to no research on the server.
I also love seeing how as soon as 1 big site made an article about Wynn a ton of smaller sites just follow it copying most of the stuff written and even the pictures...
I hate the media so bad, But as long as it helps Wynn... It ain't so bad.
just please don't make an article about us in WSJ
