The color palette for the sky, and the slightly squared shading for the sky is great. Its giving me some minor impressionist vibes, stimulated by that very detailed style you do. Though, I don't ever really understand your characters; they always look so unpolished compared to your very nice backgrounds and structures. Like, I can fathom the idea of a contrast between real and cartoon, a very popular example of that would be the art the band Disclosure does. But, I can't fathom the idea between higher quality backgrounds against lower quality characters. Quality ≠ abstraction. I think a great example of that contrast between real and cartoon that you did on this composition is with all the tumbleweeds, with that contour white line.

I've been keeping tabs on your art posts for months, and this one is one of your best, if not your best so far.
