Does Items In Your First Slot Give The Boosts?

My Hotbar setup:
The Specialist, Flameshot Hilt
The specialist have 378% Fire Dmg, so my flame shot should deal 4500 dmg... but It dosent...
Just wondering

It doesn't really, from a balancing point of view. If it wasn't as it is, you could easily be broken as all hell.

What do ya mean? And I don't use Alka I use Flameshot.

 

12k damage per second is not normal, at least in my eyes. On the other hand, fatal does 20k meteors and meteors take about 1 second to land if the server doesn't lag, so thats actually invalid.

 

12k dps is abysmal for a flameshot melee

I do 40k dps

 

I am a fucking noob ok? I just got my first level 100 3 days ago :P
And I'm still working on my build, It's just currently I deal 12k a second (I can bump up to 24k, if I'm REALLY LUCKY)
And How would I deal more? I'm using a basic shit Cancer build (yeah I know)
