First off I want to apologize if this kind of a thing already exists, but having looked through the wiki and the forums for a bit, I couldn't find one of these. If it turns out blindness due to brain hemorrhage from trying to convert the map x/y coordinates into the 3D-world while sprinting for my dear life, any kind of punishment is accepted and encouraged.

What I'm trying to ask you, the pros, the veterans, if you could name a couple of things that'll make life easier for new players. We're bound to see more of them now since the Kotaku article. Nothing super serious, just what you might have learned that you wish you knew starting out. If there even are such things.

    Thank you!

(Obviously I'll do all the gathering and formatting of any useful wisdom.)

Until you've gotten into endgame and need to get specific information on gear to make sure you're not wasting time and/or money, all you really have to do is follow the quests! The early quests should explain stuff decently well, like how elements or powders work.

TBH half of the new players who would join wouldn't read it anyway.
But pretty much do what dis guy above me said. If you need to look at the map, do /class so you won't be in danger of dying. If you don't understand something, ask about it.

If you need help with anything like bosses (and don't wan't do create a thread about it) you can always go look for help in the Disord or even Shoutbox.

Warning: The Shoutbox is filled with memes and wierd stuff

If you really want some extra information, you can check out the help section on the Wynncraft site for a deeper look at some of the game's features.

https://map.wynncraft.com/ is a great place for not getting lost. It even has the added advantage of tracking your current location (albeit it's a bit slow).
https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/frequently-asked-questions.89460/ - this thread helps for a lot of common questions.
#questions on the Wynn discord can usually get you answers really quickly.
https://wiki.wynncraft.com/index.php?title=Main_Page - this is our wiki, and it contains lots of useful information.

There's really no official beginner guide, it's usually done through intuitive learning and quests.
