Vip-only Class Slots Violate Eula

You're missing the point by comparing leaderboards to VIP Town.

Vip Town had a Black Horse merchant that made it more cost efficient to breed white Horses.
It had a direct impact on the gameplay of a donor and a non-donor.

Leaderboards don't affect the game at all, not even in the nether.

The EULA doesn't deal with "needs" but with "fairness".
Both of these things aren't needed, but one made the game tipped in favour of donors because a donor would spend less money ingame than a non-donor.

What this argument boils down to is what you consider constitutes the gameplay of Wynncraft :

If you look at it from a fragmented angle, then the extra classes don't matter in the slightest; you're still able to grind mobs, to do quests, to level up, ect.
However, if you take into account the very tip of the endgame, then yes, more classes means you're able to store more loot, and more money, essentially being richer than a non-donor that grinds a lot, but isn't able to store his money.

 

mojang banned a few servers already

 

I don't know anyone who needs like 5 bank classes, and the leaderboard isn't even important, its just for bragging rights.

That's a bit overkill.

Either way, it doesnt violate EULA as its kinda hard to get rich off the trade market until you're level 100 or 101, and my then either youve bought vip+ or vip or you've quit / started new class.

Some peoples sell like 150 items, 4 classes is not enough for that if you consider that they also keep Quest Item and collector items, extra storage give you an influent advantage on the forum market, which got an influence on the economy of the server.

They said this because since you got more classes you can have more levels and so have a better position, but like other peoples said, the leaderboard don't affect the gameplay. ^^

 

This is absolutely ridiculous. I really want the 3 extra slots I would get if I were to buy VIP+, but Wynncraft has the right to withhold that from me with a paywall because it doesn't give those who have it any in-game advantage. The leaderboard isn't important at all, and it doesn't make sense that having more slots gives you an advantage; you still have to put the same effort into leveling every one of them. Everyone has the ability to buy and sell items, if more storage is an unfair advantage why not ban everyone with more than one account?

Like I said before, take the example of the market.

 

You seem to forget that there are mutliple ways of handling the economy.
You can either keep items until eternity is over and then sell them all, or you can sell them as soon as you find them.
All quest items added up together take less than 1 class. You'd still have 3 classes to store items at (which is enough)
while being able to play on one other class.

 

VIP town gave VIPs unfair advantages due to the Horse merchant. I wasn't here when it was a thing, but I think I know what it was. The Horse merchant sold Black horses for 1 LE. This was cheaper than the average price for black horses based on brown horse prices and breeding chances. Therefore, VIPs had a way to make money more easily than other users, which violated EULA. It could also be argued that since VIP town was a segregated spot, VIPs could have easier access around the map or something idk

 

There is not a lot of peoples who do the "You buy and I go search for the item", look at the market, most of the shop sell item they already got.

And just take look at who are the richest players and you will understand my argument.

You don't seem to get my point. I wasnt talking about "you tell me what you want and I search for it", I was talking about "Hey, I found this good item, lemme sell it quickly."
Additionally, as I already said, 3 classes are enough to store 78 items, enough for a decent shop.

 

Going back on what someone said before.

Even if you have a lot of space for items, it take slots for the money you will earn.
If you have more storage, you have more slots for your money, your items, your bank is used for powders, scrolls, keys, runes, and others things you got a lot of items to sell, a lot of money to keep. Do some math and you will see that more slots is an advantage.
