Seriously, he probably will. Someone in the house apparently asked for impeachment. Something about James Comey's firing breaking some regulations... And because he apparently told a Russian ambassador something he wasn't supposed to... And because he caused very reasonable suspicion that he has ties with Russia due to screwing up really, REALLY badly during an interview... Talk about Self-Destruction.

I'm honestly sick of how dishonest the reporting has been on this travel ban, so I'll break it down :

The title of the article you provided claims Trump wanted to "temporarily ban refugees", this is however an outright misleading statement; Refugees are guaranteed to take refuge in the nearest safest and stable land from their warzone, so you can bet than no refugee has the right, under internationnal conventions, to take refuge in the US.
As far as I know, refugees from the Syrian shitshow have tons of countries that are not bloodbaths waiting for them to go to. They are not guaranteed a spot in the US for them.

You claim it's a religion ban, but this is factually inacurate.

Seven countries were placed on this list: Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. They are indeed majority muslim nations.
But you know what else has Islam above the 50% ?

All of these.

If this is indeed a religious ban, and not a counter measure to try to dwindle out terrorists in the US, then all of these should pretty much be banned. They weren't.
You could argue that some of these weren't on the list because of potential conflicts of interests (like India) and business reasons. But if that was the case, then why didn't they ban all of the countries from Africa ? Why weren't Saudi Arabia and Qatar on the list ? You tell me.


You could have argued more honestly by saying perfectly valid and reasonnable counter arguments, such as :

- This won't fix the issue in the slightest and is profoundly anti American
- The drawbacks are way too severe for this to be a good measure
- Most of the terrorist attacks on the US soil don't even come from immigrants, they come from either naturalised citizens or muslims that were born in the states.

But instead you went down the road of faux-outrage that never leads anywhere in a civil discussion.

I'm pretty sure that's the case of most politicians anyways.
