What Happened Over The Weekend?

Hello everyone!
Some of you may have heard, but quite a few people have been banned this weekend. There's been confusion as the Wynncraft mod team kept silent, but now that it is finally fixed, we can talk about it.


So what happened? A few dungeon bugs have been discovered (or at least greatly brought to our attention) this weekend. It allowed people to dupe dungeon rewards and XP. Here's the main issues we've found...

- People found ways to glitch the boss fight, allowing them to "complete" the dungeon many times in seconds.
- People used an exploit to skip parts of the dungeon
- People abused of the dungeon party XP sharing without completing the dungeon themselves
- People abused broken dungeons (or glitched their way through it) to complete them faster


Let me be clear. Doing dungeon runs is fine. You can throw a dungeon bomb, XP bomb and invite your whole extended family to a dungeon if you want. What is NOT alright though, is abusing bugs for your benefit.

This also includes anyone who profited from people abusing glitches and then never told us about it. If people in your dungeon party are shouting "LET'S DUPE THE XP GUYS, LET ME DO IT" by staying and keeping silent you are also breaking the rules.


Now, those issues have been resolved (you can join random strangers' dungeon runs with no fear), but the rule still exist. If you see someone abusing a glitch, please tell a moderator about it. Do NOT participate in it and keep silent, it makes you just as suspicious.


We hope that cleared a bit of the confusion surrounding this, and we apologize if you've been wrongfully banned. Feel free to write a ban appeal on our forums to let us know about it. If your ban was a mistake, it won't count towards your max amount of strikes.
