What Much Does The Attack Speed Buff Do?

On items such as cancer, there is a buff which buffs your attack speed.
The amount if buffs is respresented in tiers, such as +9 tier attack speed.
What exactly is 1 tier? How much does it buff your attack speed?

 

If you look at the tooltip for weapons, it'll list a speed (e.g. Very Fast, Slow, etc.). The tier order, from slowest to fastest, is Super Slow -> Very Slow -> Slow -> Normal -> Fast -> Very Fast -> Super Fast. So, one increase in attack speed tier just ups it to the next tier here (i.e. Fast -> Very Fast). There's specific values somewhere for how many melee hits each speed can do per second and DPS buff you get from increasing attack speed tier (spoiler: it's huge), but I'm not sure where those values are.

Is it capped at super fast? since the cancer has a max of +13 tiers, and the amount of tiers you stated is only 7.

 

Yep, capped at super fast. For negative attack speed tier it's also capped at super slow.

Super fast: 4.3
Very fast: 3.1 (or 3.2, cant remember)
Fast: 2.5
Normal: 2.0
Slow: 1.5
Very slow: 0.81
Super slow: 0.51
