    Sometimes I login to a world, the player effect did not show? And I would have to /use and disable and then enable. Is this a common thing? Or is it me?

    Yes, it happens to me as well with the Pentagram effect and it is incredibly aggravating, I know you can fix this by switching worlds, but still.

    Pretty sure /class works too and tbh its less annoying than disabling and enabling.

    You can either use /class or turn the effect off and on again to get it to appear. I'm not really sure why this happens, but I find it annoying since I can't see the particles on myself. I'm not sure if others can see the particles though.

    Like @Tomix said, doing /class is probably the easiest way to make the particles reappear.
