This thread serves the purpose of outlining the Wynncraft PVP metagame. This is specifically for overworld PVP. Data are gathered from in-game duels and build information, as well as the 'Class Builds' section of Wynncraft forums.

Furthermore, this thread can raise awareness of what one would consider 'overpowered' items. Perhaps one day this will come in handy when the managment of Wynncraft PVP metagame becomes a higher priority.

Spoiler: Current Precision

Current Precision is a measure of how reliable the current list is. It is measured by taking the ratio between the items I have listed from personal experience and speculation against items confirmed by polls by the community.

The Current Precision as of Version 1.0.7 is 27.3%.

Spoiler: Polls

Polls are created periodically to ensure accuracy. At the end of every voting period, the list will be adjusted accordingly. Each poll cycle lasts ~3 days, totaling to 11 cycles, approximately 1 complete cycle every month.

The most voted item/s will be included as S-Tier. Any items within 15% range of the second most voted item will also belong in S-Tier. Any items of between 15% range of the least voted S-Tier item will be listed as A-Tier.

If there is large discrepancy outlier between votes, the most voted item will be ranked as 'SS' Rank, with the rest of the items ranked from the first item not part of the outlier.

fuck man I got an op morph stardust juat waiting around to sell i didnt know its like SS, i should get on that

 

"SS". It isn't op, rather it simply is very applicable like Vaward. It has a lot of good stats, but it isn't the best in a single stat. I mean Heroism has better HP, Blue Mask better SP, Third Eye better Mana, and Nii Shako better element defenses. In the end, you do not simply build Morph Stardust, you make a build and cover its weaknesses with the Band-aid called Morph Stardust but only if its the best option.

 

What about burnout and other endgame items that are low leveled

Burnout is very rarely used, let alone successful, in overworld pvp. Same deal with CoI.

I would like to ask why Third eye isn't at least an A rank helmet. It has pretty good mana regeneration, above average spell damage, along with a few other small buffs. It seems like a good helmet for a spell focused build. May I know the reason it's not here?

 

Don't ask me. The Helmets have been voted for. Even if the entire 'Other' section was Third Eyes (which it wasn't), it still would not make the cut to A-Rank.

Let's just say that Morph-Stardust outperforms Third-Eye.

 

Thank you for your explanation, I'm still a bit confused on why exactly stardust is that much better but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

 

Well for one, Elemental Tanks literally define 80% of the metagame. Stardust has everything it needs to fit in, from low requirements to respectable Elemental Defense boosts, and if that wasn't enough, it is outclassed only by Blue Mask in terms of Skill Point boost as well as providing mana regen, a stat otherwise lackluster in Elemental Tanks. Even outside of Elemental Tanks, Stardust's versatility and splashability makes it the best Helmet in the current metagame.

 

Thunder, fire, and earth sanctuary made it, however, air and water didnt?
wha... what?

 

Leggings is currently being voted. The existing rankings are estimations based on prevalence.

 

Not many builds use water and air sanc...

 

But they have the same values and what not, you cant say thunder is better than water or air, they're the same.

 

But they arnt in the meta

 

true that, ive not seen many air/water damage builds....
