Is Dern Actually Gonna Come Out Before The Molten Heights Quests?

Ok look, sorry for being a little headstrong earlier. I know correlation does not equal causation. I never claimed that Dern and Molten Heights were 100% for sure related, just that there might be a possibility of the them being related because 1) It doesn't make sense the content team would release Molten Heights after Dern since they never mentioned adding Dern after the corkus update and 2) The presence of the demons in Molten Heights and the mysterious dark portal. My point about the setting was a little weak, I was just pointing out that Molten Heights resembles a hellish landscape like Dern and could have been affected by the decay/cataclysm a thousand years ago since a lot of places were. That's it. I admit I could be totally wrong about all of this since the story line hasn't come out yet, but those are just my thoughts.

Btw, here's Togak's dialogue from Aldorei's Secret Part II. It's from the wiki, so correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it hasn't changed:

• They loved money. So much so that they became increasingly more desperate to acquire it. But still, it was not the end of the world.
• • That is, until a thousand years ago. Something happened between the realms, and to this day we are unsure exactly what caused it.
  • Being immortal, we saw the effect of the realms war on Gavel. The forests to the north began to decay. The mountains began to erupt. Light, was fading.
• We were powerless, monsters began to emerge from all sorts of places we hadn't imagined.

 

If it was completely frozen, the mobs wouldn't spawn, move, or die; the water wouldn't flow; the lava wouldn't flow; and none of the quests would happen. And there would be no day/night cycle.

Please. There are so many gaps that need to be filled in, first, so much area that doesn't have enough quests (it's really underutilized), and so much that could be improved . . .. Do you really, for one moment, think that Dern is next? That's like believing in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and Sugob, all at the same time. SMH

 

And Time valley would be pointless as it's impossible for frozen time to move slower

Meh, just disregard that point. I don't mean Molten Heights looks exactly like Dern, just that both places look pretty ravaged and torn apart in general. Again, this point is pretty weak so I'm not just saying, "lava in Molten Heights = Dern!"

Point 1) I've already agreed on that; it's more likely that Molten Heights gets new quests before Dern is released, especially since it's probably at a very early stage in production, if being worked on at all.
Point 2) From what we've seen of Dern and its inhabitants, it's more of an End/dark-ish type place as opposed to hellish. There's a possibility that the two are linked but it is still implausible.

As for the dialogue; quite right. Until 1000 years ago, the villagers' greed wasn't that big of a deal. Then the decay came along and made it worse.

Fair enough, but the lore/storyline is timelocked. You can complete the quests, but those events aren't permanent and nothing new happens.
