[maybe Spoiler Unsure] Provinces?

Do the "provinces" in Wynn act like they are countries or are they part of some larger country like in our world definition?

They act like countries.

 

They are essentially countries, yes. They have their own governments and aren't really part of any larger group, as far as we know.

 

It's just that 'provinces' sound cooler, I guess.

 

Well gavel is pretty splintered
I'd say it might be closer to Ancient Greece, with city-states that varied but had the same language and similar culture

 

Provinces are more like cultural divisions over countries, as Gavel's government is twisted, and wynn's is abit also

 

You think that all we have on the map in the whole world or just a continent, lets say Canada bcz Canada has provinces I think. So all we know this could just be a continent and we haven't even seen the rest of the world. :P

Actually Fruma did send backup to Wynn (Us of course) which could point to something because we can assume they're both allies, Maybe some sort of an organization similar to the UN exists?
But yeah we don't really know enough.

No, seas on earth aren't fully surrounded by land, it's they are next to an ocean which is water and oceans aren't surrounded by land, you can sail around the world without going over any land which would be impossible if oceans were surrounded by land

I looked it up: the expanse of salt water that covers most of the earth's surface and surrounds its land masses.

It's pretty easy to see why Fruma would send soldiers to Wynn; the corruption isn't just a threat to the one province. But yeah, the three main provinces (Wynn, Gavel, Fruma) all seem to be on good terms.
