What would happen if instead of having multiple servers with a 60 player cap, if there was only one main server for Wynncraft, with no player cap. Tell me the pros and cons, and why you think this. Thanks!

Well, then that one server would have to be very powerful, with all those players loading more chunks, items, NPCs, and mobs. From my understanding, just because wynn has a bunch of separate servers, that's what they are, actual physical separate server stacks somewhere. You can't just combine them. But if wynn did get one very powerful server, this would allow a lot more player encounters which would make the game more enjoyable, but it might make grinding areas and loot runs less useful when there is a lot of people.
The admins have been talking about raising the player cap for a while, yet there hasn't been any public progress yet besides the code rewrite which may allow the servers with the same power as they are now run smoother allowing more players on one of them.

    1. Way too much pressure on the server, would result in extreme lag and crashing.

    2. Since command blocks seem to derp around and break randomly, nearly every cmd contraption would be broken to the point where no progress can be made. (Same with script based stuff)

    3. Places like Detlas would be full of players, hundreds of them. People playing with potato computers couldn't handle it.

    4. Grind spots would always be taken, making leveling up too slow to be enjoyable.
