Switching Linked Accounts

So I bought a new account yesterday. This account used to be PiplupThePenguin but I changed it. On my new account, I once again named it PiplupThePenguin for unknown reasons. Now, it says both forum accounts are linked to the same Minecraft account. Is there a way to change which account this is linked too? Thanks in advance.

 

You're not allowed more than one forums account. That, or you may have worded it in a way where I misunderstood

 

I do not want 2 forum accounts. I want my new account to be my main. When I linked this account the name was PiplupThePenguin. I have changed it since but the Minecraft Account under my profile still says PiplupThePenguin. I am wondering how to get that name to change.

 

It will update with time.

 

Any estimated amount? I changed it about a month ago.
