Bismuthinite Downgraded

My current wand, the Bismuthinite, has recently been downgraded. It's normal damage stats used to be:

Neutral Damage: 245 - 285
Earth Damage: 105 - 165

Now it's damage stats are:

Neutral Damage: 140 - 245
Earth Damage: 60 - 105

Anyone know why this happened? It's seriously ruining my farming spot!

@Selvut283 Can you please tell us when you're goig to nerf something? It's getting really annoying having to change my builds constantly and losing my exhaustion.

This happened because I made a mistake with it. It was either this, or I put its attack speed to what it SHOULD'VE BEEN, which was Very Slow.

 

I made inventory space and it still vanished rather than going into my inventory.

 

I actually would have rather'd the slower attack speed, as I can one-shot more mobs and the spells do the same damage as before.

The spell damage multiplier on attack speed would have made the spells much worse if it had a slower speed.

 

I'll say no to this, because not everyone reads the forums every day, and not everyone even reads the forums. People that do read it would have a significant advantage over people who don't, when it comes to making trades. And there is no "that's too bad for them". We need to be fair, so we all find out what's happening at the same time. That's why Selvut isn't telling anyone in advance what he is changing. Oh, and the decision to re-balance items is not just a Selvut decision, and no I'm not going to say who else was involved, other than yes, I pointed out several things to him that weren't working as they should. So, while Selvut is the person who has the responsibility to re-balance all of the items in question, it was a well thought-out decision by several others, too.

It would be nice if you update the item guide with the new stats, because I was really confused today that my Bismuthinite has different stats than the one in the guide. (I wouldn't knew it if I hadn't Bismuthinite ingame.) Wrong information like that has a huge impact on my planning which powders I use for weapons.

 

The item guide is based upon information in the api. The api is updated through a process that takes several checks and rechecks. If you think that we don't know about the situation, you are wrong - it's not ideal, and we don't like it, either. But remember this - it affects everyone equally, and we aren't trying to upset everyone. We're human, too, and we're all volunteers, with real life responsibilities.
