Meaningful Holiday - I Can't Talk To Reshad

At first i clicked him and it talked and said its 4 things but than my quest book didnt update and my book still says to talk to Nicks friend which is Reshad

 

With the new quest section, you need to pay attention to the NPCs that you dont have to click.

In his last line of dialogue, Reshad says to look out for Nick "he's coming up on your left".

You need to follow the walking NPC Nick into the portal that appears.

 

so am i screwed? how do i fix it

That doesn't fix it, but I found a way, I just hoped on to some 2 high block next to where the portal should be and jumped and somehow I was teleported.
