Mage/Dark Wizard Help Lament Build Changes Needed

Hey, so, before Capricorn nerf I had this build:
Anima
Aquarius
Vaward
Capricorn

Moon pool x2
Diamond hydro
Diamond hydro

Lament

Now I can't use Anima, I know about Cumulonimbus, however, I was looking for something with more +Thunder def to counter Aquarius' -Thunder def, what should I use? Also, if I switch Vaward w/ Water Sanc will it impact in spells? (In other words, does % elemental dmg affect spells)

 

Had the idea of swapping Aquarius with Boreal and getting Cumulonimbus, But ill lose a lot of MR should I do it?

This works with 28 skill points gotten from both vaward and capri combined. (i.e. 20 from vaward spread out between dex/intel/def/ag and an 8 intel capri) If you get less sp from vaward and capri swap out a hydro ring for a reminder

No. The 5 intel on each hydo ring is what's allowing u to wear aquarius.

 

Why not cut Capricorn for memento and use anima helm? That way you won't keep wasting points in either ago or defense. Also, why double moon pool? I'd suggest double diamond hydro, because of the increased water damage and Intel.

 

Because Capri has better % sd than memento and some other stats, and Memento has -ls, which stacked up with lament.

Dont get your point here, Capri doesnt need def, Anima does.

Already had enough intel for 75% and I wanted some mr

 

My point is that using Capri and anime in the same build makes you split between defense and agi, when it's more efficient to choose one or the other.

you don't need points in def. Myelin might work, not so much thunder def but it's something

 

Cumulonimbus has more thunder def and %sd, Anima is better in this situation tho, since its more tanky and has %sd. If I do use Cumulonimbus or Myelin Ill still be weak to thunder

 

You're just wasting a ton of defense points though.
