Hive Master Armour Names & Elements Explained

I was looking through the Hive Master items and wanted to know the explanation for the names and elements so I made some researches and yeah

Anima Infused Helmet
This one was actually quite hard to figure out. Anima basically means life, soul, hence the fire part. Water makes sense too, since water is the origin of life. The thunder is there for the 'soul' I guess..? Not too sure about this one.

Boreal Patterned Aegis
That was quite easy. Boreal means 'northern' in latin and it's basically related to cold and arctic stuff, so here's the water and air part. The thunder comes from the Aurora Borealis, which happen a lot in boreal (sub-arctic, Northern Europe and Canada mostly) climates (thanks @Gigavern).

Hephaestus Forged Greaves
Hephaestus (or Hephaistos) is the greek god of metallurgy, volcanoes and fire; and air stokes fire (thanks @Mint_Ice_Cream).Metal is also a conductor of electricity; that's where the thunder part comes from (thanks @Crimson Corsair).

Gaea Hewn Boots
This one was by far the easiest. Gaea is the greek personification of the Earth. The Earth is made out of water, earth and fire (well not really, but the inner core is hot so).

The accessories don't have any hidden meanings btw, I googled the names and just found the wynncraft wiki

So yeah, thought I'd share it because it's very interesting, I love these kind of references tbh

 

For the anima one, thunder is there because of Frankenstein's monster and re-animation. (Obviously I'm making this up)

For the heapheustus one, remember that metal(god of metallurgy) is a conductor of electricity and furthermore lightning, which is what thunder should really be called :p

 

Boreal-Patterned Aegis has thunder, because of the Northern Lights AKA Aurora Borealis

 

that would make sense but most of them are just related to mythology so I'd rather wait for a GM to confirm this

Air stokes fire, fire is used in forges, hence air on Hephaestus-forged greaves

 

I alwasy think along the lines of "fire needs oxygen as fuel" but that makes more sense.
