Hi! I'm curious what people think about builds in the early levels. Yes, I understand that having a build is a little hard considering the fact that you'll be switching items out left and right, but I think it's necessary to focus on something so you're not lost later in the game. Say you focus on poison (not popular for PvP but great for PvE), you'll know when to strike your opponent, you'll have strategies to fall back on if your main one fails.

Maybe don't have a single build but focus on something. I'm a lvl 30 archer and I'm focusing on water/thunder/air. Maybe not all of them, but at least figure out what works for you. Want to snipe? Figure out how you snipe. Ambushing? Figure it out. Just charging in? Figure it out. Everybody has (a) style(s), you just have to find it(them).

Back to the topic: What were/are your early game focuses/styles? I think this'll help all newbies out because they'll have a little somethin' to go off of. Be sure to say what class because otherwise we'll all be like 'Whaaa? "Rush in and spam most powerful spell"? I can't do that, I'm a [insert low def class here].' (Yes, I use British quotation marks. They make more sense to me. Yes, I'm not from Britain).

I focus on speed (and poison, but I don't use that for PvP, I'm don't like for people to have to deal with glitches), attack and walk. Guess what though? I always have two-three other bows in my hotbar. Usually a fast-super fast bow, XP-Loot bow, raw damage (slower), and a more normal one in case I need elemental dam. Usually the more normal one is the one that I put powders on because fast bows usually don't have too many powder slots. The normal one is the one that I use when I'm not in an area where I'll be swarmed. I wait to put tier 4 powders on (go grind outside Almuj or Abandoned Mines, plenty of T3 powders).

    Your thoughts?

Not exactly a build of mine, but just some tips I have are to have, like you said, at least a couple weapons on your hotbar so you have the choice of fast low damage or slow high damage; and to not use powders until you're like lvl 50+ since until then, and even after honestly, you'll be switching weapons and armor to fast for the powder to be worth it.

True, very true. Try to distribute them evenly after you reach that though.

True. Powders are pretty hard to come by unless you find the right places. I generally put low tier powders on those. Yet to sacrifice my precious T4s.
