Get a cluster and put T6 thunders on it. More damage, less pricy

Actually, cluster deals a lot more neutral with no powders, meaning a lor of damage will convert to fire/earth damage when arrow bombing. If you add the base 8% thunder dmg boost Az beats cluster, especially since thunder dmg becomrs worthless on cluster.

 

Ehhh no. Because ALL of Cluster's neutral turns into thunder, Cluster still does more damage. At 100 dex, AZ does 2789 DPS, while Cluster does 3026 DPS

 

No, most of it converts to fire/earth. So unless you go full tank its better to go with Az, as thunder dmg will have more effect on Az. If you still don't understand read @motoki1 's guide to the galaxy for damage calculation.

Yeah I was explaining it wrong. All the damage is converted for melee, but for some reason when the system calculates your SPELL damage it first converts a part of the original neutral damage, BEFORE you put on the powders. Thus you lose like 60% of thunder dmg (can't remember correctly, check motoki1's thread), so % thunder dmg boosts only affect a small part of your total damage. Az has a lot of base thunder dmg, which is not affected by this.
