Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread

I'm very curious to know if anyone here plays or has played Skyrim at all and also if you liked it and maybe what you liked about it. Just to get it out there, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is by far my favorite game ever. I've made characters of all races and believe it or not, I've dedicated about a month of playing on a Nord character reaching level 149 and completing every single quests in the game, collecting every single unique item (i.e. quest rewards, hidden items, or Daedric Artifacts), and maxed out all of my skill trees to 100 (and made some legendary like Archery, Sneak, Light Armor, One-Handed, and Destruction). My favorite weapon is by far The Glass Bow of the Stag Prince (Dragonborn DLC), favorite shout being Dragon Aspect (Dragonborn DLC), and favorite spell probably being Blizzard. I'd actually like to know what you guys really like about the game, if anything and maybe your favorites for different things. :)

 

When I first played it I didn't like it but that was because I was like (insert young age when game first came out, too lazy to check)

Missed an arrow. Accidentally shot chicken. Was arrested. Whiterun debt > student loans. Adopted an annoying ass kid. Is an annoying ass. I can't unadopt him. I can't kill him either. I can murder any other innocent demographic though. Accidentally adopted another annoying ass kid. I hate this. Married a dragon man. Fell dozens of dragons and beasts yet still attacked by bandit groups.

11/10 would steal sweet roll again.

 

I like you xD I got a nice chuckle out of reading that :) You probably already know based off of things you said in the post, but there's a mod that allows you to kill children... if you're interested....

 

I have bought the game and all the dlc twice
I probably have 400 hours on it too
Is this bad?

 

For i have no DLC
Probably not till I'm bored with the original.
But I can say two things -
1. Its become a habit to pickpocket people
2. Years and years ahead, I will tell my son of how I escaped Markarth by the skin of my teeth.

Shame I'm an attack-on-sight criminal there, that treasury was BEGGING to be robbed.

 

Killing that first chicken in Riverwood is where you truly learn how life is

>kill chicken, everyone wants to kill you

 

The Riverwood NPC's were weird people.
A dragon fricken lands in Riverwood. Everyone freaks out and runs. Not the blacksmith. Blacksmith drops his hammer. Walks past the weapons he has laid out in his forge. Runs up to the dragon and punches it. Blacksmith proceeds to get one shot. No more blacksmith... But hey, now he won't catch me stealing all his stuff

 

also, my friend accidentally killed the merchant's daughter. Turns out high level mage spells one-shot most NPC's
And now her body is just chilling in the shop. The merchant now just randomly says "I wish my daughter were with me today."
... rip
