    Hey all! This is a thread about the new mythic wand Warp. It is very in-depth, so I've included a TL;DR at the bottom of this wall of text. However, if you are interested, I do recommend reading the whole thread.

    The Item
    I've heard a couple of people asking about Warp and its stats. Well, Warp is actually in the item guide, with stats and everything. In case you are curious, this is what the item guide says for Warp. (For some reason, the image links are broken.)

    Now that you've all seen the stats, let us analyze the mythic!

    Analyzing the Item
    First of all, it is (as a lot of us thought) a wand, dealing a pretty nice amount of melee damage (counting elemental damage, Warp does 250-360 total damage at a Very Fast Attack Speed). Because it is an air wand, it obviously requires a lot (130) of Agility to wield, but that's understandable. Alright, nice damage. I like this wand. What could go wrong?

    Then we venture to the identifications.

    Health Regen
    The Health Regen percentage is -350% to -650%. That means that you won't gain any health while holding the wand (unless you are somehow able to pull off a health regen build). I believe that's how this ID works but I would like it if someone could confirm.

    I'm going to take a trip to the bottom of the identifications for the raw Health Regen. At -2450 to -4550, you'll be left with a single health within minutes of simply holding the wand. So, basically, if you hold the wand for extended periods of time, you will lose health extremely quickly.

    Mana Regen
    Next stat: Mana Regen! The Mana Regen is -10/4s to -19/4s, which adds another argument to the idea that you aren't meant to hold this for long periods of time. After a few seconds, you will be out of mana, similar to the way the assassin's Vanish spell affects mana. You'll be out of mana until you switch to another item.

    Reflection
    Okay. I'll admit this isn't shaping up to be the best wand, but stick with me. Our next id is Reflection. Lots of it. With 21% all the way up to 91%, this is an ID that puzzles me. Due to the idea that you can't hold the wand for long periods of time (see above), I guess you have to strategically plan when to hold the wand (?)...

    Reflection seems a tad out of place in this item, but I do enjoy the gimmick of having to time when to hold the wand so that you do damage through reflection. I'd like to see how people use this stat in their builds, if they do at all.

    Agility
    Wow, that's a lot of Agility. 12 to 52. Wow. That ID has a lot of variation, much like Reflection. Think of this: if you get a maximum Agility value, then you are utilising at least 182 Agility, not counting any armour you may be using. I can see how, with this high an Agility value, anyone wielding this wand will take much less damage, due to the sheer amount of hits dodged.

    Basically, if you get this wand, this particular ID could be super beneficial (well, that depends on your playstyle) or essentially useless. It all depends on luck.

    Exploding
    So, there's Exploding on this wand. 12% to 52% of it (hey, the base for Agility and Exploding are the same). This ID seems like something that won't really factor into builds, but it is something nice for whenever you're able to get some hits on whatever you're fighting. It makes any attacks you do with this wand more worthwhile, because you could trigger it every other hit (if you had a could ID).

    Speed
    THIS! THIS IS WHAT I WANTED TO TALK ABOUT! The Speed is insane on this wand. 54% to 234% boosts the current Walk Speed record by, uh, a LOT. This might explain why the wand is called Warp--if you are using it, you already have an Agility build and thus the natural Walk Speed that comes with that sort of build. Thus you travel extremely quickly. I don't know the max Walk Speed you could get with a build and this wand, but I think it is hovering around the 500% mark.

    There you go, the origin of the name Warp. I can imagine that the strategy of timing when you hold the wand is made much more interesting by the Speed buff, and I can't wait to see what people do with it.

    Thunder Defense
    Oh yeah, there's thunder defense. I'm not sure exactly why this is here. It is a nice addition, but it doesn't seem like it will factor into people's usage of the wand that much. The focus here seems to be on quick movement speed and strategic hits, but I'll take the defense just the same.

    Final Thoughts
    My belief is that this is a wand meant to be used strategically. You'll have to time when to hold the wand and take advantage of the IDs--quite an interesting gimmick. I enjoy when items have gimmicks and such, as it makes you think about when to use the item and inspires creative thinking in players.

    There's also two powder slots in case you want to change the damage values. I don't think specials will be utilized, as you'd have to hold the wand for long, straight periods of time to charge it up.

    In conclusion, I am excited to see how the community uses this wand. I think we'll come up with some very interesting builds and strategies.

    TL;DR
    • Warp is a new Mythic air wand for level 99. It does some nice melee damage and is Very Fast. It requires 130 Agility.
    • It gives insane debuffs to Health Regen (raw and percentage) and Mana Regen.
    • It can give large amounts of Reflection, Speed, and Agility, and also gives buffs to Exploding and Thunder Defense.
    • The Speed is probably where the name Warp came from, as you can travel very fast with this wand (so fast, it might seem like you are teleporting...or speed hacking).
    • The Speed makes me think that you are meant to plan when to hold this wand and to time your attacks so as to make maximum use of the IDs and damage.
    • There's also two powder slots because why not.

    hoy, archer speed goves 360% speed, add that with a max warp and a advanced ws set and the max level potion for agi, sanic speeds, too bad you cant ride a horse fast, cuz it drains ur mana

    Its a good concept in theory, but like i've said on other threads its pretty much useless in reality. Rip air wand dreams, we wait so long and get a gimick item. Riperoni in my opinion.

    Yea. Basically, if you hold it for more than a few seconds 2 things will happen, you will be at 1 health, and you will have 0 mana to even sprint and utilize the walkspeed it gives you.

    I kind of understand what they are going for. It is an interesting gimmick, as you can only hold the wand for a few seconds before mana and health drop. I just wish it wasn't on the only air mythic wand. If it was on an elemental combination we already had, I'd be fine with it.

    Just use Morrowind for damage and Warp for "warping." It's simple and it works.

    I like that strategy and I imagine it was the intended purpose. Or at least the idea of switching between two wands.

    i believe if i had this wand i would use it for travel, since its massive speed could take me from ragni to almuj in like 30S-2M, adding it the best speed gear possible

    It's cause archer gets a 60% speed boost to ALL SPEED, which Means that when both get 50% from armour, stratifornis is technically faster.

    I believe he was pointing out that the lowest speed for Warp is much lower than Strati's max speed.

    yet max warp pretty much multiplicates by 2.25 the max speed of stratis
