Corkus... Province...?

We all know Corkus is not considered as a province, but then what is it? I know it is an island, but if it isn't a province itself, then is the island part of another province, like Fruma or Wynn?

 

No, the ocean is mostly concidered as a no-mansland. Only a few islands are claimed( E.G Selchar and the ice nations). This means that it's just an island.

 

The Wynncraft wiki says that all of the quests that take place on islands in the ocean, take place in the Wynn Province, like Jofash Docks, Rooster Island...

 

You also have to remember that the Wiki is community driven. Personally I am not sure if the islands are a part of any province, but I feel like it is safe to assume that they are not associated with any, other than trade deals.
As @Gebis8 said, it's kind of a no-mansland imo.

 

When you think about it, the ocean is Wynn. For some reason, all provinces are separated by a large mountain range. The ocean falls within the "Wynn" basin.

It's a no man's land for the most part, but I'm fairly sure that in the lore Selchar is part of Wynn's territory, being the sister city to Detlas. Maybe that's just my memory, though.

By that reasoning ,the atlantic and pacific oceans are part of Canada, the US, and more.

 

It would make sense for Selchar to be a territory.
