Mage/Dark Wizard New Fire/air Monster Build Prototype! Credit To Seoreh!

Hello everybody! Recently @Seoreh and I have been playing around wit
h our monsters, and we created this fire and air build we want to show to you guys today! I don't usually post builds like this, but I thought we should share this build with you guys since fire/air isn't exactly well liked at the moment. I typically use water/fire with my monster, but I had a lot of fun with this build.

I want to now make sure that I don't take all of the credit here. @Seoreh (my guildmate) played a huge role in creating this build. Now let's get on with the build!​

INTRO TO THE BUILD

This build is a fire/air build prototype. I will recommend what items you can swap out in this build, because there are a few crucial items to the build. This build is capable of soloing qira. I just did it myself even without the entire build completed. In addition to this, Seoreh and I "duo-ed" qira in under 1 minute and 30 seconds using this build. We are yet to test wybel, though we are certain fire under-performs against wybel due to his fire defense. It might be able to solo, but again we are not sure.

THE BUILD

Our first item will be Heroism. Heroism will be somewhat the center of this build, and is the item we based the build around. The health regen is not a problem (you will see), it provides crucial skill points, and on top of that gives us a ton of health and life steal.

WARNING: Skill point wise you will need a certain amount of defense. I will explain this later.

The next item you will need for the build is Hetusol. It has great health, provides crucial health regen that is lost on Heroism, and gives us extremely important mana regen.

Now for the importance of the defense skill points. You need a total of 15 defense skill points between Hetusol and Heroism in order for you to use Monster.

Our leggings for the build will be Hephaestus-Forged Greaves. They just perfectly fit this build. They give us extremely important thunder defense, amazing amounts of health, speed, damage, and mana steal.

The final armor piece for the build will have to be Wind Mimic. I mean, who doesn't want speed in a fire and air build. Wind mimic also helps out our agility skill points a lot making our leggings choice possible.

WARNING: You need at least 6 agility in skill points in order for this build to work.

Now for the weapon, Monster. Just gonna post a screenshot here of it. No ID's are necessary. I know many of you guys think Monster is not a good wand, but personally I really like it.

ACCESSORIES

For the rings, we are simply going to go with Concentrations. The mana is necessary for this build's fighting ability.

For the bracelet, we are going to get some walk speed with Follow the Wind. This is just for the walk speed, and is 100% replaceable.

Finally, for the necklace, we had to go with Clock Amulet. The 15% fire damage set bonus along with the elemental defense is impossible to pass up.

For the raw skill points, here is how to calculate them.
Please note that there are for RAW skill points:

0 Earth/Strength
33 Dexterity
*Insert ALL extra skill points here* Intelligence
100 Defense
70 - (Wind Mimic's Agility ID) Agility

HOW TO USE THE BUILD

In order to use this build to its highest potential, you need to know how to use it! Here is an in depth list of tips to beat your opponents much more effectively.

- Constantly use melee damage against your opponent. It charges courage as well as does considerable damage. This melee also helps your mana because of your mana steal.

- Use Teleport and Heal effectively. Against your opponents, it is a smart move to dodge attacks and confuse your opponent (or get out of cobwebs xD) using teleport. Use heal whenever it is necessary to heal yourself. Try not to go below 1/2 of your health, because it will eat away at your mana.

- Using Meteor. Meteor is the most effective while courage is running. If you are constantly melee-ing your opponent you should most of the time be on courage. You will want to use meteor the most while you are on courage, and don't use it if you are low on mana.

- Ice Snake. I don't use ice snake much against bosses. It is extremely helpful for clearing packs of mobs and buying time to regenerate your mana. It is also super useful in duels to make sure the opponent gets wiped out by your meteors.

- Move Around! You have decent walk speed with this build. Use it! Circling enemies is a great tactic, and clumps them up for meteors.

You should add Phoeniex wing as an alternate weapon anyways its a rlly nice monster build :D

 

Might use Paradox instead of Wind Mimic to get positive Earth Defense, more Mana, and %spell if skill points allow. Otherwise it's great. Will calculate if Paradox is possible.

 

Phoenix Wing doesn't do enough dps to even come near to soloing qira. Although it works, the dps just isn't there.

yes paradox was under consideration. I personally use paradox with my monster often, but since this was more of a fun build we went for the walk speed.

This build is not built around melee at all. Melee is simply to charge courage and mana steal.

The courage... I mean don't all monster builds use courage. It's the most efficient way to do damage.

 

Great job presenting this, had a ton of fun making this build with you, and for those wondering, although it is not nearly as effective in the build, you can substitute Monster with Phoenix Wing if you can not afford a mythic but still want to try out this build!

Do you have any damage tests/other data on how it works in practise?

 

Yes we have fought qira multiple times with it. We have not done any real damage testing yet, we kinda just hit a few citizens to try it out. I will update the thread if we do some real damage testing

have any substitutes for the leggings? i only have hive chestplate and boots ;-;

 

I did solo qira with fire sanctuary, but I don't think I would recommend it. Vaward could always work as well. I actually think that there might be a new piece that could work, but I don't have a repotoir of all the new items yet

Sounds like exhaustion but with positive attack, can I see them?
