By this, I mean the guards that are walking around and are able to fight...

I originally thought they were player NPCs but now that I take a good look at them is it possible to retexture the way mobs are formed and turn it into a player looking thing? As well as NPCs usually mess with the tab list and you seem to use a very customized one with essential information and I feel like that might be a way to bypass every NPC from being in there.

So I am in doubt of whether you are using some retextured mob or actual player NPCs which (I assume) would eat up the server's power.

I love to say the phrase "NPC" :P

They're player NPCs and not a re-textured mob, I don't know how they work, though. I think the TAB list is created by a plugin and isn't based on what players the server thinks are online, so they don't interfere.

They probably do. Wynn's just spent a lot of time and effort optimizing the server for minimal lag, as emphasized in several earlier updates

I'd love to know how wynn optifimized server for less lagg. I dabbled a bit into plugin making but i never had to optimize because i was the only one playing on the server lol

Thank you! It seemed suspicious thinking they were NPCs considering there were so many of them constantly running tasks to kill anything it could murder... Especially the large cities with so many moving and passive NPCs. Really interesting how the lag was able to be practically non-existent.

    Loving the name!

You are right it would be interesting to know.

Ha ha ha, it works quite well! The effort put into lag is just absolutely genius, starting to think there is some kind of wizard doing all of this...

Also just going to say right now, I put way too much effort to reply to most of these replies in one message. I really did not expect to receive quite a few replies. You have such a nice community :saltedhigh:

I did not proof read this so I am just going to hope there were no mistakes!
