Lost Stuff... Again

Yep, second thread, after losing 21 or 23LE because of a bug I can't remember and madib telling me it was because sometimes when a class/bank is full, one item disappears I emptied every class and my bank of 1 slot.

But now its different, so it happened this morning, was checking classes for an item, came back to my warrior to tell I couldn't find and then...
in the chat there was written that my gravity didn't have enough skill points to stay, I know this bug of accessories leaving and so stuff can't stay and everything drop, but no!
my class had 5 slots empty+my accessories didn't drop because I already have enough sp put by myself into it for it to not drop if my armor drops...
so my accessories were there... but not all my armor...
my weapon (and i'm happy) is still here, so i lost no mythics, but come on, just ended qira hive another time to finish my build, and not 1 hour later I lose it?
(oh and i completed my build less than a week ago so I'm still not bored about it have to rebuild it almost entirely... how cool...

At least you know exactly what happened do the devs can help to have it not hapen that way.

 

Hm, maybe change it so when you drop items on the ground, they actually get thrown in a trash bin automatically, the last 50 or so items can be saved to the database and you could view them inside playermenu and take them back any time.

This should fix all missing item problems, especially if you make mythic items last longer in the trash bin.

The downside would be that you couldn't just drop item on ground for someone else to pick up. But most people use trading anyway right?

Edit: the "downside" would also be increased inventory space lol, so i'd just make it cost some money to take those items out, that way it can't be exploited for easy farming storage.

Huh so item dissapeared without being dropped on the ground? Can you explain how that happens if you know?

 

They were lost to some variation of the skill point glitch, the game thought Khaps did not have enough skill points when he was offline and just spitted his items to the bit space.

There is nothing you can do to prevent it, salted gives, salted takes. The "takes" part seems to apply to Khaps quite regularly.

@Khaps mmhmh I guess clear even more of your inventory, keep like 8 slots free if possible so if you lose all skill points all your items fit.

 

It seems a bit weird that game checks item requirements when you're offline but ok

I was technically not offline, just looking at other classes...

at least I didn't lose a mythic... yet

this is a theory, no idea of what happened...

If you lost your shit once you should know that posting this was a waste of time, mate.

 

I think we shouldn't pay money to get the item back.

Instead, the server should give us an untradable item called Lost Item Deed which when we open the GUI with the lost items you buy them with the deed.

To prevent to abuse mythics with them, the deeds will have 5 types which are Mythic, Legendary, Rare, Set and Unique.

 

I never knew this, now I gotta be careful to not lose my stuff
