nice job. I died once but didn't know how to use it, so I went on doing what I did the first time =( Wish I knew about it. Maybe make it more obvious.

No it wasn't a bad idea or anything. Just not efficient.

 

I just think that someone, which should've been me, just needs to slap it on to the wiki page for the quest. That way, if people are in need of the checkpoint system, we can just point to our wiki.

As Tantibus and others stated earlier in the thread, there may well be something similar coming to those quests in the future. It is, however, still not very easy to implement, and it's not urgent, which lowers its priority. I simply came up with the skipping feature for FiD because I was bored a few afternoons, and wanted to try and fix an old issue people had in my quest due to having to repeat the whole quest if killed.
