Assassin/Ninja Cataclysm Build (fire/thunder)

Yea but for now, its useable and could deal good damage (theoretically) so im pretty satisfyed considering its not glass cannonish

 

This build literally has like 10k health..... and if you hold cata (I'm assuming its decent and has 4.5k negative hp) then you will have 5.5k hp....

 

I don't know what world you're living in, but anything less than 10K health and mediocre elemental defenses is a glass cannon here.

 

cant say anything about the health issues but im not trying to make a tank build if your expecting 1000 elemental defense per element (mediocre is normal, not glass cannon) so im living in a pretty fine world :p
EDIT: minimum health is 6.6-7.5 k and im pretty good with 7 k personally

all the negative health of the cata is removed by the leo (or most of it if its the worst cata) so the health leads to the anima helm plus whatever boots you chose so i would estimate that you would get 7 k with nether scar, 7.5k with hive boots, and 6.6 with exhaustion

EDIT: you can add more health with acessories like royal blazing amulet

 

The thing is that 7.5k health is still really, REALLY, low, and is definitely low enough to be considered a glass cannon. You'll still get basically one-shot by any strong build, especially if you have negative elemental defenses.

I said mediocre as opposed to really good, because if you had 7.5k health but 1000 elemental defense per element that might not be too bad. (Though I suspect it still would be.)

 

mediocre is mediocre, as long its not bad, its acceptable

glass cannon health is debatable (id say 5 k or something imo)

3/4 of 10 k im not too picky about these means (8 k or more with acessories) and usually people are dealing with pve situations (since this game is mostly based on that) rather than pvp (i should probably mention that later) (how often do you come across a strong build anyways?)(i think defense only helps with neutral damage but im sure it does something)

for pvp combat, your an assassin... vanish

might as well use a rainbow tank if your going for defense

 

The average build has somewhere in between 10k to 12k health, so 7.5k is definitely a glass cannon. If you don't think so, you need to reevaluate your definitions.

You're likely to get one-shot or nearly one-shot by Qira, and your damage can't solo her at all. Sure, you can shred most normal mobs, but you can easily do that with a significantly tankier build anyways.


And any build needs reasonable levels of survivability. Otherwise you'll die before you have a chance to deal out your damage.

 

dude, 7.5 k is still enough im very sure im not gonna get one shot from every attack that exists. plus there is still elemental defense that protects you from these kinds of things, sure there not good, but they are medium leveled and can still work unlike a glass cannon

well your not supposed to bring an elemental build into qira anyways....

survivability depends on play style and tactics so its not really about blow for blow styles

 

I must recommend Hephaestus Forged Leggings It would give you a max health of 12K, 250 Raw Regen(maintain a constant vanish to easily heal, 20 seconds for 1K health), 20% more walk speed, and some Fire/Thunder Damage&Defense, and 2/4 Mana Steal.
Someone said when working with Cataclysm you don't need to focus damage, but instead Defense and Tankyness because it already has more then 50% more DPS then the second highest DPS Weapon in the game.

i just added the sancurary cause i wanna see the potential of sancurary gear since its not used so often
also if thats the case, couldnt you go with a generic rainbow tank or something?

Not really in the build forums, more ingame. 2/5 of my personal builds use them.

 

No agility Low health meh defences likely to get one shot by most builds. Basically a hit or die build?

 

sure however ya wanna put it, i havent tested it myself so idk but the defense from the give gears are alot so they gotta do sommething (right?)

I guss this build is a pretty free flowing idea, but you kinda get where im going at if that makes sense

 

You know what being honest this is maybe a situation where Leo could work. Here is why:

Anima and Gaea both have a ton of water def. he can survive without a bunch of it.

He needs the hp for sure.

And he has enough damage anyway xD he is using cata which is op
