Corrupter Of Worlds Has Regen Hacks

Has anyone experienced something like this?

You go to fight Corrupter of Worlds. You know that he has 100,000 HP, the power to delete people once he gets onto them, and an ability to drag everyone to him so he can delete everyone with the aforementioned statement. Despite this, you still go to fight CoW. Unfortunately, you can't milk those- I mean, you can't kill him.

Knock his HP down to 95,000? Oh, you must be seeing things- it's still at 99,980 HP. Drank all your mana potions and health potions to bring him down to 90,000 HP? Back to 100,000. Gather up a team to whittle CoW to 88,000 HP? Surprise! The boss regenerates instantaneously back to full health.

Either there's an unmentioned, un-referenced, unstated key to killing him, or there's a problem in the game.

Sorry if I sound frustrated. I am. I've lost dozens of soul points to CoW trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. But no matter what I try- even if I get him down to 10,000 HP- he immediately heals. It's ridiculous.

 

Obviously you are doing something wrong
Namely not doing nearly enough damage to kill him, if you're really struggling that much get help from higher level players
Or get a weapon with Fire and Air damage, Defense pot, Intelligence pot, Agility pot, and you should be able to kill him if you have pretty good armor and accessories

 

There's also this if you want it.

 

Try getting help from higher level player - I can help in a couple days if you are still having trouble :)

I should've mentioned that I'm a Mage, so if there are any specific tips that you could give me regarding the Mage class vs Corrupter of Worlds, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've put two Tier V Air Powders on my weapon (Relic Wand- because I don't have anything better), hopefully that will help. I still can't figure out how to activate its special, though.

I did not think of stat potions at all. Thanks for bringing it up.

In the last few combats, I've found that I can use Ice Snake to stop him, then chuck out everything in my arsenal at him, then flee and repeat. The unfortunate part is that directly after each assault, he regenerates to 100,000 HP- which is what led me to conclude that there's a problem. I've played a few MMORPGS before, so I'm beginning to relapse into superstition to find a solution. Maybe I should kill all the Corrupted warriors outside the boss room, or maybe inflicting freeze/stun/various other effects causes CoW to heal. I'm probably wrong, but at this point I'm so desperate that these far-fetched ideas are starting to sound kind of true.

A bit more direct help - what are the names of your armor pieces and accessories? Your build can make or break you.

I soloed CoW pretty easily as a mage using Sage (level 47) and this build.

 

Corrupted Warriors have nothing to do with the Corrupter. Killing Corrupter will be ten times easier, if you bring even one person with you. Soloing him at the level of 68 is a tough challenge, but still is more than possible.You gotta be filled with Defense and Agility pots + ton of hp + might also want to get intelligence and mana to spam your snake on him. I killed him used a very bad Chaleur (fire warrior weapon) which is a level, uh, 32 I think, when I was level either 69 or 70, just by spamming uppercut and healing myself in the meanwhile + I had a lovely archer that also was damaging him while he was raping me, by shooting Bomb Arrows. Also his damage really reduces on you, if you use the defense pot. Don't pay attention to the other mobs, you'll get harrased anyway.

Point that you have to remember that Corrupter is really weak to fire and air, as was said a ton of times, and his damage goes to null if you use defense pots and have at least so-so build for your level.
If you still wont be able to do it, I might just help you to kill him, but mind that you'll still have to deal at least 15% damage to get the Corrupted Heart

I met two kind players in Troms who were willing to help me. I took the advice of the replies here and bought defense potions, checked all my gear for Air damage, and added a third Air powder to my wand. Thanks to them and everyone here, I managed to defeat CoW.

I'm staying as far away from him as I can from now on, though.

I know that there are sometimes rules against directly naming players on forums, but I've checked the forum rules and there doesn't seem to be anything of the sort, so I'd like to mention Xonic_Xero and Underworld_King2 as really nice heroes. Not only did they drop everything they were doing to help a new player, they also turned down my 2 LE payment of thanks. Hopefully I'll level up and be able to help other players eventually.

All of this sounds really cheesy, and in about 2 minutes I'll probably be so overcome with embarrassment that I'll delete the whole thread, but really. Thank you, everyone.

 

One of the best things about wynncraft is it's amazing community =D. I'm glad that you were able to beat this boss, but some even harder bosses lurk just a few levels away =O.

 

He has 5000 regen which occurs every 10 seconds. This is the average regeneration rate for bosses(5%).

 

If it's troubling you this much, I can come in and help you kill him.

Actually, Qira has extremely subpar regen. Only 5000, so as to let her be reasonably damaged by most players.

That's glitch abusing.

 

Well usually final bosses are meant to be done by groups of 2,3,4,etc.Unless you have an awesome build and want to be strong AF,try to make some friends before you do the quest which are lvl 68+.If not,ask for help
