The Qira Hive Help?

I need help with ways to beat the boss called the Psychomancer. I have great amounts of trouble beating it as a result of its insane teleportation and insane burst damage. Being an assassin, I can't catch up to it and get absolutely decimated by its damage. Anybody have any tips or ways to beat it?

 

Yeah whoever designed mobs for the hive wasn't thinking right. That thing is crazy. Also, wrong section

Ever try beating that thing at level 80?
Title is misleading tho, more of a planning parlor thing

 

Was asking for tips on how to beat it, not for people to help me beat it.

Eh to be honest it's better to ask for help

 

I was just in Detlas and I was being ignored harder than a homeless person in Atlanta.

 

Honestly, I went through the five floors of the Hive solo on a level 100 warrior (not Qira since she's way harder) and I only died once due to this boss. Make sure you don't have horrible thunder defense (like -100 or higher), as that will make you take more damage. Switch your armor if needed. Also, I'd highly recommend buying some stat potions from a potion merchant, as those can heavily boost your weaker stats and also give you "perks" based on the potion used.

Do this, and you should be okay against the boss. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but these tips should at least ease the damage done to you during the battle.

 

Use Bob's Mythic Dagger, cast smoke bombs and keep walking backwards around the arena. Kite him.

He is super weak to smoke bomb's earth damage. Remember to bring potions.

 

i got throught all 5 floors with a warrior lvl 80 quite soon after gavel came out btw my warrior had old endgame shit

 

I tried this but I got killed after he teleported and 1 shot me. I happen to have only 11% walk speed so unfortunately it's sorta difficult for me to kite him :/.

 

Hm I know, I've had troubles with him before.
What armour do you use? I think I beat him using Restored Ancient Helmet, Millennium, Crystal and Sodeta Boots with Bob's Mythic Dagger, Morph Accessories + Concentration and loads of potions using a high agility build.

You just have to get the walking pattern right and you will not get hit by the full shotgun. Never walk straight away from him, try to walk a circle so he partially misses you when he teleports+shotguns. When you take damage, use a potion, keep on casting smoke bomb all the time.
