This is my desktop, I used a program called wallpaper engine to make my wallpaper a video. It is on steam if anyone is ingested.

He actually made me a piece for Halloween

That's really cool! You can have GIFs as desktop backgrounds??

 

Sure you can do that, but this is even better. Here's the app I used, wallpaper engine. You can set videos, gifs, even lightweight applications as your background. Those bars bouncing up and down ain't a gif, it's an audio visualizer that reacts to the music I'm playing (so if there's no sound there's no bars, different bars are for different pitches I guess and how loud they are). There's a bunch of custom backgrounds/visualizers and such you can download in the workshop for wallpaper engine, here's the one I used to make my background.

So the background with the weird mushroom things is static but that visualizer is, well, not static and not a part of the background. If you have some money to waste I really recommend getting wallpaper engine, 4$ is a pretty great price compared to the alternatives if you desperately want fancy wallpapers.

Because it'll ruin the beauty lol. I just keep everything in the start menu or documents folder anyways.

 

This is my main monitor; the two columns on the left are mostly unused.
