In all fairness the Switch's first 2 days had more units sold than the Wii's first 2 days. Granted, there are some technical issues but a lot of issues I've been seeing are caused by being totally reckless. From what I've heard though, the Joy-Con strap issue can actually be solved without any tools. You just unlock the strap lock thingy and keep sliding it in the same direction that you put it in. I could be wrong since that's only from internet hearsay but if it's right then that first video was totally misleading. Then again it felt more like blind hatred with half of the issues being very rare and most likely able to be fixed with a system update (it's not uncommon for any console launch to have glitches). Heck, that Joy-Con connectivity issue seems to be fixed with the first system update unless you have a lot of wireless interference, say if there's an internet router in the same room. Even then you have to actually obstruct the connection with your hands. And many of the other issues are, again, like I've said, just caused by being intentionally careless.

That said they REALLY need to start making better docks. It's so counter-intuitive to have to try and sandwich the switch in between the dock and risk scratching the screen. It's fine if you just take it slow but if you're in a hurry and want to bring your switch with you, it could easily lead to some screen scratching. Nintendo has even stopped selling docks on their website so I have a feeling they might come out with a better model. Or they could at least start selling some sort of cozy for the dock that'll keep you from scratching the screen like I've seen on reddit. It would even be better if they packaged it in.

I wouldn't say the switch is "shit" just yet. It's off to a bit of a rough start but even despite the rare issues people are still loving it. Also, your "two games" comment is a bit misleading. IIRC there's about 7 launch games that actually came out on the same day. Technically 8 if you count that Shovel Knight expansion. Big first party titles are not the only things that count as launch titles. Sure, most of these games aren't full price but that doesn't mean there's only two games you can play on the Switch, so that's a very misleading comment. You can complain about there not being enough games that interest you, or just not enough first party titles, but "only 2 games" isn't fair.

 

I will buy a switch if they bring out an exclusive Pokemon Game (Just main series) otherwise it doesn't hold much interest for me
