Graphic Desig Equipment?

Aight, I'm ordering up some parts for that PC I was talking about and I'm considering taking up graphic design. What does everyone use and/or recommend?

 

Wacom things

 

adobe creative suite

just pirate 6 or CC and you're good to go

 

I use paint.net to manipulate and edit images. Can do some neat effects, doesn't take much to learn, but not as complex as gimp.
And as ganon mentioned already, yea wacom is pretty good. My sister uses it for drawing.
Paint Tool Sai is nice. Brushes are customisable af and I've heard good things about it. The things you can do with it, tremendous. Also it's like the win rar of digital drawing; "free trial, purchase after 30 days please".

For graphic design, you don't really need a graphics tablet unless you'll be drawing stuff digitally. Get Photoshop (paid) and Paint.NET (free) for some editing stuffs.

If you plan on making graphics yourself, get Adobe Illustrator. Much better than photoshop for designing things.

There is a trick with some amtlib.dll file that you replace and you can use it for free, forever.

EDIT: The same trick works for every adobe product I think, just turn off auto-updates.
