SPOILER What Is Corkus? - Corkus Livestream Highlights

For some very weird reasons... I've seen a lot of people lately who don't even seem to know what Corkus is, So I've decided to make a shorter version of the Corkus livestream from a few months ago containing all of the important information.

Wait.... Corkus is only getting 3-7 quests?

 

I think that's more your fault for saying it... But still, thanks Mutton for making this, some of the forums here need it.

 

You know any other islands with that many quests? Not like we're getting a level cap, nor is it unusual for there to be ~7 new quests in an update.

Wow so dern is basically thrown into the trash and replaced with Corkus...

 

no, the content team just decided to bring out a @MrCoffeeTime "suggestion" that actually was a meme, but Dern is still going to be on the map, not soon cause the build order is Wynn, Gavel, Corkus, Fruma and as the last one Dern, but Dern isn't dead, i mean, the end-story line boss is going to be in Dern.

 

DERN WAS THERE FIRST. IT WAS THE 3RD PROVINCE EVER MENTIONED

 

I think dern is going to serve it's purpose alot better if it is the last province to come out. It is meant to be dark and mysterious and because of that it becomes the final part of the game with wynn, gavel, fruma and corkus all hinting and leading up to it like a grand finale.

 

Said quests can also be quite long, why shove 30+ fetch quests on an island smaller than a province when you can have 3-7 big storyline quests which offer a lot of lore and stuff?

 

Dern is the final area of Wynncraft. It's always been seen as a far-off, dark continent, hardly even a province. It has not been replaced. It has never even been announced to be introduced to the game; we simply assume it will be.

Corkus is 7 times bigger than any other island, at least.

It makes perfect sense for there to be 7 starting quests, especially since Corkus isn't even a province, nor is it province-sized in terms of surface, quests, or otherwise.

In any case, it's much better to have 7 good quests spanning the entire region than two dozen crappy ones.

 

No. Corkus is just a much smaller project than Gavel or Dern or Fruma
