King Of The Tower, A Fun Mini Game!

So earlier today I was goofing in WC1 Detlas, trying to get all my classes to the top of the ider tower, when i had an idea.

"What if staying on top of the tower became a game?"

SO

To play this game you're going to need a class capable of getting to this spot here
You'll also need a depressing weapon of your class

How do you get there?

With archer it's quite simple, just make your way up here ( this is the highest point on the bank building) with escape. Then escape backwards off the ledge to the tip of the tower.


For Mage or warrior its a little more complex.(This will work for assassin but you need lots of int) You'll need to use your transport spell to go across this series of places, starting from the brown tent here . Now face south and teleport/charge onto the building in that direction. Now walk right along the walls till you see a wooden bulge, climb it. At the top, blink/leap onto the northeastern wooden tower, then face east and hold right click to reach the stone roof thats on the tower next to the LE merchant. Finally, face east and make sure there are no obstructions, and spam right click from the top of the tower in the direction of the ider tower. Then make your way to the top. This method will work with archer though it will take longer, and some more skill to hop across roofs

Finally, for assassin(this method will also work for mage or warrior), go to the same spot as the archer method, along with another warrior. Then duel your warrior friend. Once the duel starts, have them uppercut you. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE WARRIOR SWITCHES OFF THEIR WEAPON ONCE YOURE IN THE AIR. This will prevent you from slamming down if the person uppercutting you has stage 3 uppercut. Once in the air, hold right click in the direction of the tower and land on it. Make your way up.

All classes but mage can surpass the final two block jump at the very top, use a horse for this.

Level reqs:
Mage 11
Assassin 46
Archer 11
Warrior 11

Warrior uppercutting: 21(duh)

Once you're up, the fun begins! Take out your depweps and duel each other, making sure you're both on the very top of the tower. Once dueling, use your spells to try and knock off your opponent! Someone wins if their opposition is completely knocked off the tower, if you fall of the tip but STAY ON THE ROOF you can keep going, maybe try and lure the other person down and knock them off more easily!

Best classes for this:
Assassin(tough to get up but multihit is worth it)
Archer(Arrow shield knock back, and arrow storm)
Warrior(War scream and bash, charge also does decent kb)
Mage(really only good thing is...well...no idea!)

If you're bored of chatting or waiting for corkus, this can be a fun way to pass the time!

I like the idea, though I don't know how popular this will become if it's not an official event or mini-game type thing.

This isn't necessary for Warrior, so you can still get up there by yourself. There's a simple parkour route along the walls of detlas on to the twin towers and then the hourglass.

 

Ok, i wasn't sure whether warrior could do the same thing, i wasn't able to test it. Ill edit the thread!
As for the first part this is just an idea i had and wanted to share it with people so that they'd have something to do

 

All the classes can get up normally, warrior and assassin using the towers, then the charging

 

Nice game! I just played the same thing with my friend today on top of the cinfras bank

 

For archer is simpler to do the method I said.

The lack of view bobbing is bugging me XD

 

View bobbing looks ugly when you have high ws tho and at least the update mac thing isn't bugging you

 

Nah, I have that update mac open all the time. It looks like your hovering if you have bobbing off
