It runs in javascript, so it's not the beefiest thing in the world, but it generates between 2 and 12 players, throws them into the medium and lets shenanigans start happening. Players have relationships with each other, have to deal with bullshit side quests, and random events like Jack Noir gaining power. It leaves a lot to the imagination, but has some pretty good 'replayability'. I'm still fiddling with it and debating trying to add graphics to it. And maybe tone down all the bullshit side quest writing. Maybe gloss over everybody but the leader? Whatever.

They are Enemies with the Rogue of Heart. A Zombie fell into their kernel sprite just before entering. It's a good thing none of their actions here will have serious longterm consequences.

At this point, the various prototypings from 1 players, especially the Zombie, have made the enemies far too powerful. Further prototypings will only serve to further strengthen the enemies.

The Witch of Light does random bullshit sidequests at LOTAD, solving puzzles and getting coy hints about The Ultimate Riddle.

The Bard of Time enters the game second. They appear to be destined for greatness. They boggle vacantly at the Land of Lies and Quartz. They are Totally In Love with the Seer of Mind. They managed to prototype their kernel with a Cowboy.

The Witch of Light does random bullshit sidequests at LOTAD, solving puzzles and getting coy hints about The Ultimate Riddle.

The Bard of Time does whimsical moon activities, such as attending dance parties, fluttering about aimlessly and chatting up Prospitans. The visions of the future provided by Skaia were largely ignored.

The Mage of Rage enters the game third. They appear to be destined for greatness. They boggle vacantly at the Land of Mirth and Maps. They are Enemies with the Page of Space. They are Totally In Love with the Sylph of Blood. They managed to prototype their kernel with a Fish.

The Rogue of Heart enters the game fourth. They appear to be destined for greatness. They boggle vacantly at the Land of Sand and Dolls. They managed to prototype their kernel with a Gerbil.

The Rogue of Heart is just minding their own business when they are approached by an adorable little Dersite. The Dersite introduces himself as a Warweary Villein hoping to recruit a Champion. He wishes to end this stupid war, caused by the excesses of the Monarchy. The Warweary Villein just hates the Monarchy. They are petty, bossy tyrants and are really full of themselves and are basically awful in every way. The Rogue of Heart can't help but be persuaded by the adorable rant. Look at the little guy's clenched fists! A plan is hatched to exile the Queen, and the Dersite promises an army to help fight the King.

The Mage of Rage used to think that the Sylph of Blood was the most fascinating human left, but now they can't help but think they are merely tolerable. The Mage of Rage used to think that the Witch of Light was just a little annoying, but now they can't help but think they are dangerous.

The Mage of Rage slips into the fabled blackdeath trance of the woegothics, quaking all the while in the bloodeldritch throes of the broodfester tongues. It is now painfully obvious to anyone with a brain, they have basically gone completely off the deep end in every way. The Mage of Rage has officially gone grimdark. They abandon ties to their old life in exchange for power.

The Witch of Light does quests in the Land of Treasure and Dessert, researching way too much lore and minutia to win at trivia contests.

The Bard of Time does random bullshit sidequests at LOLAQ, solving puzzles and getting coy hints about The Ultimate Riddle.

The Maid of Doom enters the game fifth. They boggle vacantly at the Land of Thunder and Death. They are Enemies with the Rogue of Heart. They managed to prototype their kernel with a Crow.

WV gives rousing speeches to Prospitians, emphasizing that they share the same goal.

The Witch of Light used to think that the Page of Space was distractingly pretty, but now they can't help but think they are a pretty good kid. The Grim Dark Mage of Rage used to think that the Page of Space was the most infuriating asshole around, but now they can't help but think they are just a little annoying.

The Witch of Light and the Maid of Doom do quests in the Land of Treasure and Dessert, solving puzzles in ways that completely defy expectations. The Maid of Doom figures the Witch of Light could make better use of some quest items, so generously donates them to the cause. The Grim Dark Mage of Rage does quests in the Land of Mirth and Maps, learning to just let go and let things happen.

The Bard of Time and the Rogue of Heart do random bullshit sidequests at LOLAQ, solving puzzles and getting coy hints about The Ultimate Riddle.

The Prince of Hope enters the game sixth. They boggle vacantly at the Land of Angels and Annoyance. They managed to prototype their kernel with a Dachshund. The Rogue of Heart shows up at LOAAA and helps them out with a few low level quests.

WV is distracted eating green objects rather than recruiting for his army.

The Grim Dark Mage of Rage used to think that the Sylph of Blood was a pretty good kid, but now they can't help but think they are sort of an asshole.

The Witch of Light sneak attacks their denizen, Cetus. Huh. They were NOT ready for that. They are easily crushed by their Denizen. DEAD.

The Bard of Time and the Rogue of Heart do quests in the Land of Lies and Quartz, allowing events to transpire such that various quests complete themselves.

The Grim Dark Mage of Rage does random bullshit sidequests at LOMAM, solving puzzles and getting coy hints about The Ultimate Riddle.

The Maid of Doom does whimsical moon activities, such as attending dance parties, cheating at poker and keeping tabs on the lifeblood of Derse. The whisperings of the HorrorTerrors provided a nice backdrop.

The Prince of Hope, as a member of the royalty of Prospit, administers the universal remedy for the unawakened to the Witch of Light. Their dream self takes over on Prospit.

The Page of Space enters the game seventh. They boggle vacantly at the Land of Heat and Frogs. They are Totally In Love with the Sylph of Blood. Prototyping with the Turtle just before entering the Medium would prove to be critical for later success.

The reckoning has begun. The Black King has defeated his Prospitian counterpart, initiating a meteor storm to destroy Skaia. Remember those random baby versions of the players the Maid of Time made? Yeah, that didn't stop being a thing that was true. It turns out that those babies ended up on the meteors heading straight to Skaia. And to defend itself, Skaia totally teleported those babies back in time, and to Earth. We are all blown away by this stunning revelation. Wow, those babies were the players? Really? Like, a paradox? Huh.

Getting back to the King, all the players can do now is try to defeat him before they lose their Ultimate Reward. The Ultimate Reward allows the players to create a new Universe frog, and live inside of it. Without it, they'll be trapped in the Medium forever. (Barring shenanigans). 2 players, the Maid of Time and Mage of Space will fight the Dersite Royalty and try to prove themselves worthy of the Ultimate Reward.

Before the players can reach the Black King, they are intercepted by the Black Queen. The queen efficiently destroys the Mage of Space. DEAD. After all is said and done, the queen is defeated. DEAD.

It is time for the final opponent, the Black King. The king brutally destroys the Maid of Time. DEAD. The King decimates the democractically assembled Army. The party is defeated.

0 players are alive.

The consorts and Carpacians both Prospitian and Dersite alike mourn their fallen heroes. The Maid of Time died fighting the Black King. The Mage of Space died fighting the Black Queen.

The players have failed. No new universe is created. Their home universe is left unfertilized.

5 players are alive. The Knight of Void and Bard of Light and Seer of Space and Dream Sylph of Time and Page of Mind fought bravely against the Black King and won. Luckily, the Seer of Space was diligent in frog breeding duties. The frog is deployed, and grows to massive proportions, and lets out a breath taking Vast Croak. The adorable Warweary Villein has been duly elected Mayor by the assembeled consorts and Carpacians. His acceptance speech consists of promising to be a really great mayor that everyone loves who is totally amazing and heroic and brave. He organizes the consort and Carpacians' immigration to the new Universe.

The door to the new universe is revealed. Everyone files in.
