Archer/Hunter Need Help Improving My Thunder/life Steal Build

Helmet:

-Taurus (Although personally my least favorite, the melee bonus is quite nice)

-Hephaestus-Forged Greaves (HP regen, Defense)
-Vaward (decent SP and Melee booster)

Feel free to suggest other items, and come up with what you would think could be the best Archer build for LS, Poison, and Thunder.


**Keep in mind I am not going only for Life steal, I want decent overall health with some defense as well.

 

You could use Hellstrand as bow, 90-390 lifesteal and + thunder damage :D

 

Hmm yea Hellstrand is pretty good, despite slow attack speed. The only thing that sucks on it is that there is only 3 powders spots, leaving me with 16% neutral damage remaining after putting 3 t6 thunder powders on it.

I would prefer helmets that also have decent health/defense, and although this helmet has lots of life steal it would kill me more than help

More dmg = more life steal, is that too hard to understand?

From my experience with life steal I noticed that the more dmg I do the more I heal, so i dunno how it works then

 

How much life steal you have is how much health you get back

If you have 100/4s life steal, if you hit and it activates (no matter how much your attack did) you get 100 hp

 

Really? I thought it was heal 25 HP because 100 / 4 = 25, but I could be wrong.

 

Nope
On average if you have 100/4s lifesteal while hitting a single target you will get 100 hp every 4 seconds
When hitting multiple mobs, since lifesteal is rolled for each individual mob, you get way more

Like I said before, I would rather not use the executioner helm. The 2 Hellions are pretty good, But i would prefer using the Jester rings since they both have the same amount of max life steal, and the jester rings give more SP. I would also not use the exhaustion because of its - Mana regen

 

Slower weapons=more lifesteal
Faster weapons=less lifesteal

By more or less I mean the lifesteal activation rate
