What Are The Major Cities Of Gavel?

I know that there are at least 7. Is Eltom one?

 

Llevigar, Olux, Gelibord, Cinfras, Thesead, Rodoroc, and Ahmsord.

 

Eltom isn't really a major city. Those would be Llevigar, Cinfras, Thanos, Ahmsord, Rodoroc and Olux, and also Gelibord and Thesead if you go by the map.

Well two of them are in the ocean, there are only 6 within the province itself.

Ragni, Detlas, Nemract, Almuj, Nesaak, Troms for Wynn.
Selchar and Ice Islands for ocean.

look a city is major if it is big, has a scroll merchant, and has a bank (ragni WAS an exception, now it has a bank)

 

If you look on the map, all major cities are bolded with white text. Ice Islands are and Rymek is not.

 

eltom fits all of these kandon beda has a bank and scroll merchant, but its tiny

 

There is no real definition of major when it comes to cities. Every person has a different list of major cities. Some people only consider Detlas and Cinfras to be the real major cities.

The closest thing is the map's bold text.

The wiki is just people.

And no, they're not crazy; Cinfras and Detlas are the most important cities in their respective provinces, and act as world hubs. Point is that "major city" is essentially a matter of opinion.

 

for a city to be major for me it must
A: have all the main types of merchant (for example: Potion, armour, weapon, emerald, id, and scroll)
B: be a sufficiently sized city so nesaak can go off the list same with gelibord
C: have proper mob protections
D: have quests centered around things in the city or in areas accessible from very near the city

 

That's perfectly acceptable, and probably the most standard way for a city to be considered major.
