A Question About Builders

Hello my name is Vana/Wowgurl13, I am a moderator for a different server, which I will not advertise, and we have someone claiming to be a builder of Wynncraft buildings. I just want to confirm with the community that he never was or if he was I would like to know. SourceEngine or an alt name would be iiMr_Wafflez. If you can not tell me then I fully understand, but if you can that would be amazing. Thank you for your time.

I don't recognize the name, but I don't know all the staff so can't confirm. @Shtafjord you should know.

 

I definitely believe that I recognize the name, but I can't remember if this person made it through our trial process. I have asked my colleagues.

It sounds familiar I think I've seen him around at some point.
Cant remember if he had a rank tho.

 

I do not, he just claims to be one.

 

He definitely is not one at the moment. If he ever was, he isn't anymore.

Hmmm, I found his player records on out stats page: https://wynncraft.com/stats/player/SourceEngine . He joined 10 months ago, he's hasn't played for 2 months, and his highest class is a Lv7 (out of 100). Very interesting.

Well, it's possible that he was, however, the probability is asymptotic with zero. (That is, I wouldn't bet a dollar that he was, against $10,000,000 that he wasn't.)

I would like to mention that he is applying to be a Builder on our server this is what he said in our application:

"Hi, I am a 17 year old High School student and my name is [Removed for Privacy]. I am a freelance developer and a gamer. (Hence why I never step outside because i'm always busy XD) Currently I work with Project Tango a former division of ATAP at Google, I know I am young but my skills in programming are great, and that is why they want me. I also do a rescue robotics event each year in collaboration with MIT and UCI and I compete against other colleges and high schools. I actually won 1st many times the first time was when I was in 8th grade in middle school and we beat all the teams.



Apart from programing I enjoy playing on Mianite, going biking, cooking and going to parties. I used to work as a builder on Wynncraft a MMORPG server, I did a fair amount of redstone and built a bunch of the structures from the Gavel update, so that involves most of LLevigar and I did some work on the floors and the outside of the Tower of Ascension. Fun fact we made a room in the floor right next to the entrance of LLevigar that has our heads, potato boxes and stuff like that.

I also have started to work on some of my own custom maps and most of the stuff I do is pure command block magic.

Well, I definitely wasn't in the Content Team when he was, if he worked on Llevigar. He did say that he used to work for us, which could be true. It's definitely more true than if he had said that he currently works for us.

Seeing as Moe stated how his highest levelled character was of level 7, and since Tower of Ascension is introduced at level 40, it is highly unlikely that he knew about it through the game. This leaves us with either Youtube, or the Content Team.

I can't say for sure, but I believe that the odds are in their favour.

 

It is also possible that he/she deleted their classes.
