    Hey,

I've been wondering how the chest items are affected. There have been times where I get a tremendous amount of items in a tier III chest, but also, just a few emeralds in the same chest. I was wondering, how does it work?
    Is it:
-Chest items increase by how much time you wait
-Chest items vary according to how many chests you opened before
-Chest items are varied all the time
    -Other
    I'd love to know, thanks!

The longer you wait before you open a chest, the better the rewards. The specifics in terms of when this timer resets, I am unsure about, but there's a general rule.

Chest items vary depending on tier, time and player level, according to current knowledge. It's possible they're affected by loot bonus, but this is unlikely and completely unconfirmed.

Here's the main factors of chest contents:

Tier: Tier 1 and 2 chests contain emeralds, powders, health potions, and weapons/items of all rarity tiers. Tier 3 chests add mana potions, stat potions, and accessories to the list, as well as having a higher quantity of emeralds. Tier 4 adds wisdom potions to the Tier 3 contents, though they are very rare.

Level: Most chests have a set level based on the mobs around them (the contents are the level of the area). However, some chests have no mobs around them, and as a result it defaults to your level, giving you items that suit you.

Time: The longer a chest has been sitting, the more items it has in it. "Young" chests will have minimal items/powders/emeralds in them, but "aged" chests have almost the entire chest filled up with items. Restarted servers are not good for loot runs since all the chest timers are reset, minimizing the item gain.

Loot bonus has been rumored to work, but from my testing I have seen no difference in wearing my normal armor versus a 100%+ loot set. I'd recommend using your normal armor for loot runs for a higher survival rate while getting to the chests.

They are effected from tier, player level, mob level, loot bonus and time left unopened
