What If... (random Clickbait Buzzword Here)

I had an idea recently, what if there was a thread in which people could submit what they are going to sell and the thread owner would write the name on the thread and when someone wants to buy it the thread owner points them to the item owner and then the purchase can happen there. You may think, "Why don't the people just sell it?" A lot of people, including myself, don't have much time to host a shop or sell something.
Clarifications:
No, you don't just hand over the item to the thread owner, you tell them what you are selling and they can write it on the board, and if someone wants to buy it they can get them in contact with the item owner.
It would go like this.
A Google form with the Name of the seller, the item, item stats (picture), the price, and time zone/time available.
The thread owner would then put the item on the listings for price specified.
Someone requests to buy the item.
The thread owner tells the seller that it was requested.
The seller can tell the buyer when and where.
Then the transaction can be made.
Not a middleman service, just someone that can make the arrangements if the seller isn't always on to be able to be reached.
The thread owner would need to be active enough.
Another thing with this is it would be able to be seen more, me making a post of me selling something would be less likely to get attention then one made by say, Pretzule, so that everyone can see the listings and no one's listing would get lost in the depths of the forums.
TL;DR
Like a shopping market, a host, and the sellers selling inside.

Thought about it before, but I already run too many threads lol. It is indeed a great idea though

 

I thought about this at one point too, but I think it would just be too much work. The thread owner would need to have incentive (e.g. maybe 5% of the profits gained from using the service) and even then, there probably wouldn't be anyone willing to spend the massive amount of time required to run that, since it would likely be a 24/7 service requiring much more than just 1 person to run effectively.

 

It's a good business model, taxing others for a small service and connection with customers, but as @Thaecrasis said, nobody takes the game seriously enough to solo run a 24/7 business like this.
