So, I recently bought a new computer (a month ago) from www.chillblast.com, (the Chillblast Fusion Arrow Gaming PC, if you're curious) and the computer has started to act up.

I was watching a YouTube video when green (and occasionally purple) lines started flickering across my screen. I thought nothing of it, as it may have just been a problem with the video, but I found out it wasn't after the video finished.

I restarted my computer and Monitor, yet to no avail, so I did some research, but only found varied results. A few minutes after the lines, my computer started making an odd clicking/ticking noise. I immediately turned my computer and monitor off, and then proceeded to switch them off at the mains.

A few minutes later, I turned my computer back on again and everything was fine. I'm worried that it may be something serious, and was wondering if anyone here knew what the problem might be?

The computer is under warranty, so all is fine there.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a dead GPU to me, I would suggest bringing it back and let it get checked.

Your problem was buying a pre-built PC in the first place. You could have built a better PC with that money.

As someone above stated, it might be a problem with the GPU - you might want to get that checked out. The caps might have burst.
It also could have been a monitor problem, but I think it was mostly the GPU screwing itself over.
It's a 1060 though, a new model - why did it screw up?
