Lusuco Hopper + Mechanical Noises

So, I was failing at ToA, and while running around Lusuco, I found this Citizen who says this when you talk to him:

Now, this could have something to do with another branch of ???, as in another meteor shard. The mechanical chip was the begining of the first branch, and the Citizen said that there are MECHANICAL noises in Lusuco.

This could be the beginning of another part of ???.

So I searched around Lusuco, and found this:


This dark gray carpet has a hopper underneath it. Right now, I'm running to Llevigar to get the mechanical chip to throw into this hopper. I'll post more updates when I find something else.
