    Hey,

So this is a somewhat 25% introduction and 75% questions so I thought I'd post it here as I may get more help as opposed to posting in the introduction thread hope you guys understand!

I'll start of with my scenario, I'm an avid gamer been playing MMO's for years WOW, ESO, Black Desert, Albion Online you name it. I recently stumbled across Wynn and have been playing around 3-4 days now and I must say it is without a doubt one of the most impressive and genuinely fun servers I have ever been on. This is not my first RPG type server I played A'therys Ascended if anyone has heard of that for a good 3 years but sadly over time the population has been in decline and I've been looking for a new 'home' if you will for awhile now and Wynn is looking extremely promising.

As I said I've been playing Wynn about 3-4 days now and so far I'm having a blast created an assassin currently lvl 16 and starting to really get sucked in to the questing. However I don't really tend to get stuck in and commit to games unless I really see myself sticking around for the long run so therefore some questions have sprung about in my head before I settle down. I have tried to answer most of the questions using the forums even browsing youtube but can't really seem to get a defined answer to these ones if anyone could help me out?

So to the point now with the questions:
    1. Endgame - Being a very hardcore MMO player I'm all about the endgame and was just wondering does Wynn have anything to offer in that sense apart from grinding for loot?

    2. PvP - I am an extremely passionate PvPer, I have seen that there is a constant PvP arena in the nether but I was just wondering are there any areas in the open world that allow PvP, for things like ganking?

    3. Keybinds - This kind of ties into question 2 as I said I'm an avid PvPer and have played similar servers with classes and skills and like to bind my spells to keys I was just wondering is this legal on Wynn as I know some servers are quite iffy about it?

    4. Guilds and Territory - Don't know if any of you are familiar with the Black desert online system but when guilds are at war they can openly attack each other in the wilderness was just wondering if there was anything like this in Wynn and also Territories, when attacking territories is it all NPC or do you get to fight actual players also?

    5. Actively Updated - I was just wondering is the game constantly bringing out new content? I've seen that there are events but I mean big content drops like I've seen you do with Gavel?

As I've said I'm really enjoying the server but my only quarrel being that I'm worried there isn't enough PvP options for me as PvP is really what I live for. If anyone could answer my questions or steer me in the right directions with advice it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

we tend to pride ourselves in our welcoming community, other than that you have guilds, random challenges people write, competitions and official/unofficial events.
you can also stay for the rp part of the community or for the artists or theorists or suggestions.
the nether is the only open pvp rea, other than that you can request to duel people in a 1v1 (or 2v1 if you glitch it right)
macros are allowed as long as you don't chain spells (multiple spells set off in a row from one key)
in guild wars you only attack npc's that are defending the territory. we are about to get a guild update soon(tm) so who knows what will come?
instead of releasing small updates the content team prefers to release a lot of content at once

    1. Endgame has some AMAZING Quests compared to what your seeing and some difficult bosses if you just solo them. Grinding for loot isn't to bad unless you want to get a Mythic which are really rare. It's really just Level grinding which isn't really that bad

    2. The Nether is the only place for PvP but it's honestly dead compared to how much there used to be

    3. Key binding is legal, as long as it's not on a loop

    4. Guilds aren't to much atm since they're glitchy and you fight NPC's

    5. There are big content drops around once a year

If you have anymore questions just ask

    1. I haven't reached it yet but from what I hear there's a pretty substancial drop in number of quests after lvl 80, in fact there are NONE between 90 and 95, However pretty soon a new province will be aded that will most probably fix that issue.

    2. PvP really isn't that good in wynncraft sadly, partualy due to minecraft's PvP being pretty bad aswell but mainly because all those mechanics that work well in the normal game just break in PvP combat, a mage build with an extremely high intelligence stats can heal indeffinetly, some builds are just broken (haven't seen it myself but aparently poison builds are "OP as nobs") and the classes just genuinely aren't ballanced that well when battling each other. Sure an Archer takes more damage than a Warrior but the Archer also has no real Range restriction, a spell that can knock the warrior back if he reaches him and is usually a lot faster.

Also I have no idea what ganking is but you can duel Players in the normal Servers.

    3. idk

    4. Guilds don't actually attack each other via PvP (since a guild with a couple of mages could just completely take over then) but rather with PvE, however they really don't work that well and are quite glitchy, and they also don't offer any real reward as far as I know.

    5. There will be a whole new province (not as big as the others tho so not quite as big of a Content gulp) comming pretty soon (maybe, the landmass is there but blocked off since the quests are still being worked on but a map update updates everything including the not finished new province), it's called Corkus and it actually started as a joke, but then it just kinda became a real Thing.

Endgame there are some bosses and you can create character builds and collect items and such.
Nether is the only PVP area and PVP isn't very balanced right now.
Macros are legal as long as they don't loop.
Guilds are buggy and I recommend not using them, they'll be reworked eventually. Territories are PVE.
Yes the server is being actively updated.

only nether, but dont enter there if there is any cactus guy, unless you want to get poison kicked to the lava sea
    idk
1 thing about territories excepting they are buggy af
gl trying to spawn, the amount of archers and mobs can get you to die before even spawning, also try staying in a certain height in every territory for get it to work (or get someone to do it)
if a yearly big content drop counts yes

Ganking is when you go around with a group of players and all attack(gank) one player so that they are in a 1v5(or more) situations and get killed quickly

    1. Detlas server one. Detlas is the level 20-30/ level 100-101 town in the middle of the Wynn province.( or ruin the economy)
    2. Only Nether and duels. The Nether has become really broken during large updates and duels are just 1v1.
    3. As the others said. If they don't cast multiple ones.
    4. Only Mobs. Guilds are relatively broken too.( And HAX owns like 60% of the terretories.)
    5. Well generally large gameplay changing updates. The Hallowynn and Wynnter updates gets released once a year(?), with only one or two quests and a small change. Nerfs, buffs and bug fixes gets released sometimes. ( The bugs still remain.)

    1. At the time at level 95+ (Which can be considered Endgame), you'll eventually make viable endgame builds. Examples like if you're an Earth/Thunder Mage, you would have a powerful earth wand and powerful sets of armors.

    2. The Nether is currently broken and the only way to fight against anyone with your current build that doesn't bug the Nether is by dueling.

    3. Macros are allowed, as long as you don't repeat the same spell over and over. With my Corsair Scimitar, I usually bind the G-Keys to keys 1-9. The remaining goes for a sniper button and spells, like Heal and Teleport.

    4. If you're going into guilds, good luck fighting against HAX. Or get others into your guild to like chat and raid / disturb other guild territories.

    5. To be honest, updates are quite frequent unlike to other servers like Mineplex, which one of my former favorite game never had any patches or update for nearly or over a year and it pisses me off how lackluster they are, despite the decent amount of developers. You know, you should stick around for the Corkus update.
