Archer/Hunter Help Is This Build Good?

I'm looking at your thoughts for how to improve my build. Simply; is it good enough? I am generally looking for anything with mana regen, air, thunder, or water damage, and spell damage (raw & %). Anything above 14/4 mana regen (or mana steal) is redudant and anything below 9/4 mana regen (or mana steal) is too low. Also, speed and elemental defense would be good too, along with at least 6k health. And yes, I know Papyrus isn't the best, but I mainly use it for the xp bonus and mana regen, so I could still use a chestplate without xp bonus for damage and/or other buffs.

Spectre seems alright, but it has significantly less health than the Ancient Restored Helmet, so I'm unsure about that atm. I prefer not to use Leggings of Desolation though because of the negative health regen and especially the negative water damage. Everything else seems ok, but the elemental defense is pretty weak overall. If you include the Steamjet Walkers, it's -130 Fire, -285 Water, -70 Earth, 20 Thunder, and 50 Air. I'm not looking for a complete tank build or a pvp build, but I would prefer to keep most of the elemental defenses positive.

 

It all depends on what elements you want to use.
I can highly recomend Water archer because its pretty OP for damage. And thunder is Good as well.
Lucky enough you want these elements.
I would use spectre (for the spell damage) for chestplate I would recomend aquarius when ur lvl 95 and seegizer (idk how to spell it) untill you get there (if you have a master voucher you can get the lvl 100 master hive plate at lvl 100).
For pants....hm its hard but crystal is always my choice when I dont know. Crystal are the perfect pants for you and at lvl 99 you can use vaward. For boots well, never ever use memento ever! The -life steal will be the bane of your existance. Use sodeta boots (the best boots ever if you get good ID ones) and at lvl 99 you can use capricorn.

For accessories you can use 2x concentration for brace idk and for necklace you can use royal stormy.
So to clear it up:
Spectre for % spell dmg
Aquarius for mana and seegazer untill you can use it.
Crystal for mana and reflection and walk speed and agil/intel. Vaward at lvl 99.
Sodeta for days!!!
And mana regen gear.
This is much water and will requier good IDs to use aqarius.
Skill points 100 intel and maybe 20 dex (for double damage sometimes) and the rest agil.

This isnt much thunder but you can spam bombs for days.
This is a LOT of water and not much thunder but if you use it you might really like it.

 

just dont use papyrus for a chestplate there are much better options like
dreamcloud

cloak of luminosity
soul signal (if you level up to 92)
another chestplate
seagazer
you could use clock chestplate

 

If you still have your Hive Air token, get the chestplate from there. It's really good.

 

Could you give me the name? I haven't looked at the Hive Shop yet.

I'm kinda on the fence between Dreamcloud, Soul Signal, and Seagazer. I threw away the Cloak of Luminosity a long time ago so that's out of the question. I'd prefer not to have too much negative melee damage or negative elemental defense, but I'm still unsure about how to go about choosing. Have any options for good bracelets and/or other bows I could use?

 

I would use torrential tide, its very good. Another good bow is sleet but its only possible to get from the wynter fair.

So use maelstrom untill you get torrential tide :)

I'm not quite sure about Lapis Necklace because of the negative spell damage, and I could use other items for mana regen. I'm also unsure about Suppression because of the negative life and mana steal. Most of the other items are pretty good besides that, though I can't use half of them because I'm only level 90. I'm planning on leveling as soon as Corkus comes out so I'll keep these in mind. Thanks for your input.

 

Life steal and mana steal have a very low chance of triggering when using faster attack speed weapons. The negative spell damage on lapis necklace is raw, so it only decreases your neutral spell by ~20 damage depending on IDs (which makes barely any difference with elemental builds).

 

All right, I gotcha. I would still prefer to use Bottled Thunderstorm though. Do you know how to get one since it's untradeable?

 

It's one of the Hive Thunder Division rewards. And yea I personally use Bottled Thunderstorm it's great

Golemlus Core from Earth, Whitecap Crown and Moon Pool Circlet from Water, and every item in the Master shop

 

As for what he didn't say, humbark moccasins from earth and cinderchain from fire are both really good.

But all of the items from the hive shop are good. I highly suggest you to just look around there for a little bit, if you're there.
