Guild Glitch Help

I'm pretty sure others have had this problem before, but people change their usernames and get stuck in guilds. And this bug has been around for quite a while. I am one of those people stuck in a guild. Could I get some help and get out of the current guild I am in? Suggestions and help would be appreciated. (Don't worry, what is left of the guild knows what is going on and is ok with what I am attempting to do).

Im pretty sure nobody can do anything about it unless the guild gets disbanded

 

or you stay stuck or the guild gets disbanded

 

If you change your name back it might work (can't guarantee it tho)

 

The one problem is that the guild leader (who is also having the same problem) cannot disband the guild, It wont let him.

 

if everyone leaves the guild it will disband

 

Meanwhile there are also 4 people glitched into the guild with the same problem. :/

Unfortunately, this issue has been posted numerous times as a bug report on github. In fact, you really should be posting this issue there. However, this is a duplicate issue, so please don't.

Probably the last thing you want to hear is: you won't be getting moved out of the your guild until the guild patch. Why? Well, if the admin team moved you from your guild, they would have to move everyone else who is experiencing this issue. Otherwise, it's unfair. In fact, there are a lot (like a lot a lot) of people who are in the same exact shoes as you.

Also, no one exactly knows when this issue will be patched. The developers are most likely attending to other tasks, which most likely outweigh the guild issues (unfortunately). I expect soon, but then again, it could be until end of the summer again. It really depends what needs fixing (and not to mention, new content is coming out soon, and that can yield more bugs).

Sorry to disappoint, but thought you should know. You could try @Yuno F Gasai 's suggestion above, but it's not proven if it'll work.
