    Hello fellow Wynncratfers!

Sometimes, when I'm bored, I'll write short stories in the comment section of songs or instrumentals. The reason I do that? You can only read that story when the audio is playing. It sets the mood before hand.

Please open a new tab to listen to the songs while you read the stories, I doubt you'd find my comment on each of them. Criticism appreciated!

"Pick it up", you say when you're dialing her.

She still has the blindfold on. It's your favorite tie. She promised you not to peak when you're driving. It's a surprise, after all. "I promise you, you'll fall in love with it when you see it." Her smile widens. Just hearing that sentence come out of your mouth made her even more excited to find out what the surprise could be.

"The road is quite bumpy", she mentions. "Are we going where I think we're going?" "You'll see in a moment." The car stops, you open the door for her and help her out. "Take it off now!" Your camera is ready.

You snapped a pic of her face, after she took off your tie and her eyes adjusted themselves to the beautiful sight of the sunset. She tore up.

"Is this the place you talked about?"
    "Yes."
    "It.. It's beautiful. Gorgeus, even."
"I knew you'd like it." You say.

    "Would you look at that!"
    "Look at what?", she asks.
"That's an oddly shaped rock.." you answer.
"It kind of is. You should pick it up." You pick the oddly shaped rock up.
    "I doubt that's a rock."
    "Screw the rock", she says.
"Let's just enjoy this play of colors by nature."

"Y'know.. We've known each other our entire lives", you mention.
"We've experienced so much together, not only as kids, but also this age."
"Yeah.. Do you remember that one time we were on a field trip with the class?"
"And there was an abandoned house and we entered it-"
"-even thought our teachers said we shouldn't?"
"We got into real trouble, but it was totally worth the fun!" You both smile, reminiscing about the past. You get on your knees and open the oddly shaped rock.
    "Is this.."
    "Yes, it is."

"This person is not available at the moment. Please leave a message and your phone number after the beep."

"Hey, I'm really sorry about what happened. I really don't know what I was thinking at the time. I didn't want to make you feel like garbage. Please, pick your phone up. I know you can hear this.

    No?

Fine. I don't need you. I'll see you in another life. Bye."

You're in a swimming pool now. You look up to the sky.
The past. You are dwelling on it.
You remember friends, and you wonder "Where are they now? What are they doing with their life?"

Your cellphone, which is laying on the border of the pool, is vibrating. Because of the specific way it vibrated, you know it was a text message. It probably is your mother, who is checking on you. She wanted to ask whether you're doing well. You still didn't go pick it up.

"Are we alone?", you ask yourself, as your eyes lock on the brightest dot in the nightsky.

You wake up on a cold winter morning. You hear the broken kitchen sink, letting down one drop of water after another. You already know this day is going to be as monotoneous as any other day you've lived for the past four years. Wake up, go to work, go back home, sleep, repeat. After the sound of the 37th drop, you stand up. Someone's gotta get money to pay for the cold flat.

On the way to your workplace, someone storms by you. They didn't even notice you, as if you were air. You've learned to be ignored, but the thought of it still hurts you.

Your mate sees you in a crowd of people, and jogs toward you. "How you doing man!" he asks. "Long time no see!"
"Yea, sure." You answer almost every question that way.
"I'm just going to work. What about you?"
"Same. A few streets from here and I'll-" Your mate abruptly stops and takes a moment to look at you.
"What's wrong? Do I have something on my face?"
    "Hey. Is something wrong?"
"What? No, nothing's wrong. I'm just going to work, I'm fine."
    "Are you sure you're fine?"
"Yes, I am!" You know you're lying to yourself. "What would be wrong with me?" You start to hyperventilate. "I'm a normal person leading a normal life." You feel your throat tighten. "I do not understand how you came up with that. As if something would be.."

And that is when you broke down in a crowd of people. At least you were getting attention, like you've always wanted.

Skyscraper. It is evening. The sun is standing over the horizon.

You see the sun go down, while the stars fade into the evening-sky.

You are in the themepark you were admiring from that skyscraper you stood on now. You are amazed by the lights of the attractions, while you pass them by. You go on your first ride of the evening. It's a roller coaster, decorated with all kinds of light-bulbs. That roller coaster is one of the milder ones. One you would go with your nine-year-old on.

You do not have any particular reason to be in this very themepark. None but a feeling.

You smile when you sit down on the train of lights. You remember when your grandpa took you on it, when you were nine. These thoughts pass your mind like you did pass by the attractions earlier. Slowly, dreamy.

You decide to get some cotton candy. You walk to the Cotton Candy Stand, that was standing just next to the entrance of the roller coaster. As you do, you scramble some money together from your pockets. Strawberry. Your favorite sort.

You're eating it now. You watch families win prizes at booths, see a girl hug her father, after he gave her a teddy he won at one of the booths. You remember when your grandpa did. His smiles are some of the most heartwarming things to remember. The dad puts his daughter on his shoulders and holds her small teddy bear. You see the sleepiness on the little girl's face. Everybody you see in this park is having fun. It has been so since always.

You stop walking. They do aswell. Your eyes are locked on each other. Your arm lowers, with it the candy cotton.

    Your eyes are still locked.
