Team Fortress 2

Hey guys. I have been playing plenty of TF2 lately, and ever since I started playing TF2 2 years ago, I got almost 500 hours of play time on it. Not much for 2 years, I know, but it is still a landmark for me.

So, I was wondering, how many people here play TF2? It would be slick to see how many people play the game. So, this thread is for, well, just talking about TF2! It can be anything, from Updates to loadouts to hats. So go, be free talking about TF2 here!

Well it seems as if everyone likes Sniper, soldier, and pyro. Also, no one likes Heavy lol.

 

I used to play TF2. I might even come back once I get my new PC parts (In fact, I got one thing in my list and that's the Corsair Scimitar, but it's mostly needed for MMO and MOBA games like Diablo III and Smite, respectively).

Anyway on TF2, I mostly play with the Sniper, but when I want to go more close combat I go with the Scout. I'm not good in TF2, due to performance issue (Mainly I'm using a 7 year old PC with Intel G41 + Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5500) and the way how I aim.

 

I actually just started playing recently. It's a great game, but it would improve a lot if Valve actually payed it any attention.

 

So true. The game is good but if I judged by only the updates I would say its terrible.

also, when valve does give tf2 attention, sometimes that attention isn't so great. for example, meet your match was a shit update overall [in my opinion], primarily because of the deprecation of quickplay. sure, there are community servers, but just being able to get right into the game in a couple clicks was nice. however, now you have to put more effort into finding a server you like. sure, there are bots, but the bot system is shit unless you get the bot overhaul mod.

1000 of those hours totally weren't me just leaving the game on and not playing it xd

EXACTLY! I loved to play on Pipeline (and I still do, best map ever) and so I could just find a pipeline server, join it, and boom I was in. Now I have to select it in some game menu and wait for like 20 minutes for my game to load.

Not only that about Meet Your Match, but now I have seen more hackers, noobs, and more empty servers recently than before. However, that is only casual. But then again, in competitive it takes like 30 minutes to find a game, and sometimes its just an empty server! And as for MvM, they haven't update that in any sort of way in a long time. Which I don't know if that's a good thing, saying how they update the rest of TF2, or if its bad since MvM is getting kind of boring.

Y'know, the sound from the Badpipes and the Fubar Fanfare really reflect this update.

TF2 is 9 years old and as I type this has the fourth highest number of players currently online. It deserved that more than any other game there, except maybe AoE2, which is 16 years old and still has an active playerbase.

I mained demo and was about to start unusual trading in tf2 but then I realized how dead it was and moved on to overwatch.
