So I've recently noticed that there has been a dupe scandal
I'd like to know what it is exactly, mainly:

What happened
When did it all start
Who started it
Have the mods fixed it yet?
Is it why I lost my mythic wand? (Monster, got it from a friend, was in my bank)
How exactly does it work
What is it's effect on the Wynn community
Was it slated
Can we blame Jumla?

 

We could blame him he's too quiet on the forums and never posts at all he is fishyy

 

I don't know too much, but:
1. Supposedly there's been a glitch that people have been abusing to duplicate Mythics, I believe stackfuls of unidentified mythic wands.

2. Recently, I would guess it appeared in the assassin buff/nerf/change update and was discovered a short while ago.

3. I neither have enough evidence to claim or would want to point fingers at a culprit, and besides, the mods probably would've half sorted out the issue if they knew who did it.

4. They're working on it.

5. It could be a possibility, because mythic wands were the duped items so mods are cracking down on possible fake mythics.

6. I'm guessing someone does a thing that clones an item. I don't think anyone's going to tell you how to abuse a glitch, because that's against the rules.

7. So far, little to none with the mods' help. If it were to go undetected, though, there'd be a massive inflation as mythics flooded the market and dropped in price (but that's also a good thing because of how rare they are? So they'd be affordable? What do I know.)

8. I very highly doubt Salted/'Slated' would want to break the rules of his own game.

9. I guess in some regard Jumla could be held responsible, as he codes Wynncraft and so a fault in the code that allows the cloning of items could be at the fault of Jumla; though really the people doing it are more to blame.

Noone to blame but yourself if you can't help the mods.

 

We're working on it. And if you want to blame it on coffee, go ahead. It's probably not Jumla's fault though.

I'll have you know that's a misconception put forth by the man to attempt to coverup the gallons of liquid caffeine the servers are floating in!

 

Somone found the glitch or bug, showed it to the wynn mafia to get some money but they killed him, now just the mafija knows how to do it and how you know noone knows who they are so our mod team will havo to go and swat every house in the provinces to find the mythic drug lab.

Mods? How do you expect the mods to fix it? It's most likely just a flaw in the code, so it's dev sided

There's always that 7 year old who likes bragging too much

 

1.Well what happened is that a player or players have been duping items and what this can do is harm the economy of wynncraft and corrupt server.

2. This actually was a problem 1 year ago as well , there were maor incidences with duping back then and apparently they seem to be happening again.

3. It is unknown who started it due to a possibility that many players possibily found ways to exploit glitches or using mysterious hacks , they could possibly be working in a group , who knows.

4. Well the Mods can tell whats duped and now and have been checking players who may have not normal amount of items or have found mythics laying on the floor.

5. Well it could be the reason why you lost your monster , possibly it was a duped monster your friend gave you ? and possibly a staff took it from your ender vault.

6. The effect on the wynncraft community is a negative one. It can cause corruption by making players too overpowered and rich and screw up the economy badly. It could be so bad that mythics are like couple le.

7. Well some duplication glitches have been patched in the past however possibly more have been discovered and are being exploited or just the use of mysterious hacks. The recent duping incidents possibly haven't been fixed/patched however i am not sure it might have gotten patched just now or really recent.

8. Well its not nice to blame other people however Jumla can be abit more active on forums and reply to questions once in awhile and speak about whats going on. Also he is responsible in a sense due to him being an Owner as well as the developer of the server.
